hi, due to finding out that my dsil is having her first baby in october, we are having to move our holiday to the 15 may 06, is there anyone else travelling with virgin on this date, that could go into manage my flight and find out which flight has the most availabily the 11.15 or the 12.30 , this is becouse we would like to try and get a seat near the middle or front, as last time we flew in the back of the plane both boys where sick, we know it is short notice but dsil would like us to be here in october and not in orlando!!!, hence the change in booking, if anyone can offer any help or advice we would be very grateful as we have to go tomorrow and change the booking thanks susie2

To be honest only about 60% of the seats are pre bookable so there are bound to be quite a few left over for checkin at the airport.

Best way to find out woulod be to ring VA direct and see if they can help, esp if you mention the problems you had last time. Even with pre booking you are not guarenteed those seats, so a note on the booking form may be an idea.

Claire ;)

As Claire suggests, I would give Virgin a ring :)

thanks, have tried virgin atlantic, without a booking ref, she could not bring up the seat map,but will book any seats tomorrow and do as you say and put it on as a reference and be first in the queue for twilight checkin, thanks again susie2

Hi, we're travelling on the 17th May and back on the 2nd June - the outward flight only has a few odd seats left and the home has absolutely nothing left on pre-allocation - I'd suggest calling Virgin again in the hope of a more helpful advisor!
