We are FL Residents, and belong to AAA and mousesavers if any of these things are relevant. We are staying offsite for the 1st time. There are 2 adults, 2 12yo's(also adults to Disney), and 1 9yo.

This is an odd trip for us as we are doing things completely different from the way we usually do. Here's what we plan to do:
1 day at a disney park
1 day at disneyquest
1 day at typhoon lagoon
1 or 2 non-disney dinner shows.

So, what kind of ticket do I buy? Something with pluses? I looked on mousesavers for the FL Res deal but I thought there was something else better out there and couldn't find it. So, I'm open to the experts...tell me what to do!

How about a one day MYW with plus options. That will give you your one day at a Disney Theme park and 2 options which will cover Typhoon Lagoon and Disney Quest ($45).

4 Adults= $419
1 child= $93
Total= $512 + tax at 6.5%
Total with Florida state tax= 536.51

I have read that for Florida residents the hopper option, normally an extra $35 per person, is complimentary.

OK, a 1-day ticket costs $63.63. The Plus add on costs $47.93 and I would get 2 pluses. This would bring the ticket cost to $111.56. According to Mousesavers my FL Res discount gives me this:
Florida residents can choose from three savings options on the Magic Your Way Tickets:

*
A third day free with the purchase of a two-day ticket (and this ticket doesn't expire until 6 months after first use).
*
Or 10 percent savings on a one-day base ticket.
*
Or free "Park Hopper" option added to a full-price one-day ticket.

So I guess that gives me $6.36 off the cost of the ticket bringing it to $105.20.

If I just bought the regular ticket for $57.27(w/FL Res discount) and a ticketmania disney quest ticket for $24 and a typhoon lagoon ticket for $36.21 that would total $117.48 so I guess I have my answer.

I need to get the FL Res MYW base ticket with a 10% discount and then I need to add the Plus pkg and that will cover my one day at Disney plus Typhoon lagoon and Disney quest at a $12 savings over buying them separately. Not a huge savings but multiplied by 5 that's $60 which we can certainly use.

So, I guess I don't need your help any more but comments and opinions are welcome.....how would you do it?

alrighty then! Now that I know what to do, I don't know where to buy this ticket :guilty: Ticketmania doesn't sell a FL Res ticket and neither does any other ticket broker I can find. Anybody know if AAA sells a 1 day FL Res ticket with Pluses? Or do I do the advance ticket thing straight from Disney?
