Please help me decide where to eat. My husband and I will be eating all day in Epcot. Need help deciding where to eat in the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We don't want anything expensive. I was looking at Rain Forest Cafe and Wolfgang Puck Express but they aren't even in the park. Please give some suggestions.Low in price but nice place to eat. Thanks in advance.

Are you looking at Cs or Ts?

For AK table service go to AKL for Sanaa. It is a hidden gem, the food is outstanding! One of our favorites now, try the bread service and dips.

For Cs at AK flame tree or pizzafari works, nothing is outstanding but it works.

For Mk I love Columbia Harbor house for a Cs. The light house sandwich is great on a hot day. For Ts I would go to the Cont. and eat at The Wave. Great food, large portions and dessert trios.

You can check out menu prices here:

And I forgot about Tamu Tamu, had a great huge turkey on swiss. Very good. Across the street from Tusker house, the window to order faces the drums the kids play on.

Rainforest Cafe is right outside the gates of the AK park. You do need to leave the park but it's like stepping right outside.

I really can't point to any full-service restaurant at WDW that is "low in price." You can get the price down depending on what you order though. Check the menus. A lower-in-price TS option at MK would be the Plaza...which is often overlooked because it's just a sandwich shop, there's nothing "themed" or special about it. Liberty Tree has an a la carte lunch, too, where you might be able to control the price by ordering carefully.

MK you may want to look at the Plaza. It is just sandwiches and ice cream treats but they are solid and relatively inexpensive.

It seems like you are looking for a TS at DAK. RFC is just outside the gate. There is an entrance right outside the restaurant. We usually just eat at Flame Tree. You could try Yak andYeti or if you have a car drive to AKL and eat at Boma.

With Boma being $46.00 or more a person, I wouldn't include it as reasonably priced. But I would agree with pp about Sanaa.

We like Yak and Yeti -- they have counter service and outside tables, or you can wait for inside table service.

I agree with Nala. There really is no "low in cost" table service restauarnat in WDW. They are expensive. If you have a car you can eat off site, it is less expensive.
Lunch at TS is often less expensive than dinner. CS is less than TS but still not cheap
Good Luck

AK - i'd go to flametree or yak/yeti counter service. I personally think pizzafari has awful pizza (just like pizza planet at HS).

MK - i agree with the others about The Plaza. Yummy food at good prices!! Liberty Tree isnt very expensive. All depends on what you order. For quick service, cosmic rays & columbia harbor house are both good options. Check out the menus and prices on this site.

Good luck!

Tusker House in AK is much better than RFC..But I do prefer BOMA at AKV.

For a MK meal I would hop on the monorail to the Poly and go to Ohana...

CS at MK..I agree...Harbour House is best...at AK..I usually grab a corn dog at one of the carts....

I love Rainforest Cafe!! You'll never know you've "left the park."

Can't beat Columbia Harbor House in MK. Go upstairs and sit by the window for a nice view that's away from the hustle/bustle.

personally I would not chose rainforest cafe, the food is so so, its expensive for what it is and since its a chain I would rather try something more exciting

I agree w/ PP hop a bus to AKL it takes 5 min and eat at Sanaa (it will still be cheaper than RC) If you eat while its still light out the restaurant is surrounded by a savannah so animals are right outside the windows! Don't worry the food sounds exotic on the menu but there is honestly something for everyone and it is fabulous quality

If you still want cheaper than that Mara at AKL is the counter service and it is great too. You would get a chance to explore the resort too

If you don't want to leave the park I have heard excellent things about flame tree BBQ

I personally would not eat at the counter service part of yak and yeti, it was the worse meal of our whole trip last time. I have heard the restaurant is better

For MK my favorite counter service is columbia harbour house :)

We would recommend Flame Tree at Animal Kingdom. The chicken plate was half a chicken and it was really good. It included coleslaw and baked beans. The beans had little bits of meat in them. It was $9.99. But both my husband and I shared it for lunch. You could add french fries for $ 2.99 more to help spread the meal further.
