Well, We didn't expect another FW vacation until next May, but the better half of Railmail was able to find a replacement for her job next week, and we got an email from Disney offering a discount for stays during September, (economy slowing more?) so now we are off for a previously unplanned visit to our favorite place. Just hope the hurricanes and tropical storms stay away long enough for us to enjoy it!:yay:

Very cool, ya'll !

I got this feeling that the weather will hold up just great for ya'll,,
Hava AWESOME time !!:woohoo:

Very cool, I hope you and your fur babes have a magical time.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys, they worked! Arrived this afternoon around 2, and got our request for the 400 loop. We are in 415. We took the fur babies to the dog park, and had dinner at the Trails End. Thought we might try to do our first trip report attempt while here. There are no empty sites in the 400 loop, and the campground looks nearly full. I figure it will thin out after tomorrow, but I have been wrong a few times, lol. The love bugs must be on vacation too. Not a single one on the windshield on the way down. Didn't bring the fishing pole Frank, so the big one is safe this time.:rotfl2:

A great start. popcorn::

Off to the Kona Cafe this morning for breakfast, then probably rent a golf cart for the day. We are not going to any of the parks today, just looping and taking it easy. Going to try to get up with Lil Lisa. Looks like they are our "across the street neighbors". We would love to meet more DISers this trip.

Wishing you a great time. I often wished that we lived closer to Disney, so we could do an occasional "quick trip."

Well, I wished we lived closer too, so that a "quick trip" wouldn't involve 12 hours of driving, but still glad to get the opportunity on short notice. I really wish that it could have been for 10 days, or even more, but thankful for the 5 short days. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Kona, and came back to the campground to rent a golf cart. Just got back from looping with the pups. It is amazing how this place has cleared out today. Crowded last night, half empty or more today! Planning on a trip to Downtown Disney this evening. BTW, at the Meadows, they have some nice (but pricey) FW camp chairs. We didn't see any FW specific merchandise last trip, so we may have to pick one up before we head home! :thumbsup2

The weather today treated us just fine. It looked like it would rain all day when we returned the golf cart this morning, but by the time we got to the Animal Kingdom, the rain had stopped, and a cool breeze with an overcast sky blessed us for the rest of the day. We had never spent much time at the Animal Kingdom before, so today was the day to catch up on things we had not seen before, and also visit some of our favorite places too. One of those is the Tusker House. We love that buffet, and I just can't get enough of their bread pudding with vanilla sauce. By the way Frank, I agree with Denise, the Kona is my favorite place for a good breakfast and great coffee! Well, tomorrow it's off to another of my favorite places, EPCOT.:thumbsup2

We ate at the Rose and Crown on our last visit. I had the Bangers and Mash, Kim had the fish and chips. I don't remember the Welsh Dragon being on the menu. We have reservations at the San Angel Inn for tomorrow evening, but if we get a chance, I'd love to try something like that!:woohoo:
