Plaza Restaurant

Hi everyone!!! I was wondering if anyone can tell me - I read this a while back and don't know if it is still true - for The Plaza Restaurant, can you still walk up and be able to get a table? I remember reading that they were "bringing back walk up seating." I'm not sure if this is still true or not. I want to have a late lunch or dinner there in December (the first week) and haven't seen anything for a reservation when trying so was just wondering if it's possible to walk up and be able to be seated without having a reservation?? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Yes, you can. I was there in late June with a party of 9. Showed up at about 12:45 or so and waited about 20 minutes for a table. There were empty tables when we sat down, and when we left. I was a little surprised, but I wonder if people get so used to ADRs for TS that they figure they'll never get in.

They are taking ADRs for limited time slots. I have one for 3:20 in August, but it does seem like it is mostly walk-up now.

Really depends on the day. When we were there the end of April they were not taking walk-ups in the afternoon. So just have a back-up plan.
