Can anyone recommen this for an OOP meal? Me and DBf were looking for somewhere nice as a respite from CS meals-we're already doing CP for brekkie again and I did toy with LTT for lunch (Not impressed that the price of the dinner hasn't decreased even though Minnie and Co aren't there now!)

Tony's doesn't appeal to me so I looked at the menu for the Plaza, and we LOVE burgers, so i'm trying to persuade DBf.

Also, and this will sound really dense, our 90 day date would have been 3rd November and now we can book from 27th october will I be able to book the whole 10 days worth of meals. (We have booked through a british TA and apparently the online booking doesn't recognise our booking ref, even though we are staying at WDW)

The Plaza is a fantastic restaurant and serves, IMO, the best fries anywhere in WDW! We make sure we go there on each trip. My favorite entree is the tuna salad on a croissant...YUM! We've never had a bad meal there.

As for dining reservations, yes, you will be able to book all 10 days worth of meals on 10/27.

The Plaza is great for a quicker TS meal. Great for sandwiches, burgers and desserts. I've tried the reuben and the tuna sandwich, both excellent. My kids always get the PBJ sandwich, which is cut into a mickey ears head. Good place, decent food alternative to CS.

My fiance and I love eating here. We've always paid out of pocket for it.

DFi loves the burger. I've never ordered it. (I get a BLT) The service is also great. Only had one bad night, but they had 2 servers call in sick that day.

we've never spent more then an hour there. Normally around 7pm. We've also shown up early and always been seated quickly.

We really enjoyed it last year. WE were on the DDP, but would have gladly paid OOP for it. Best club sandwich ever!!!

The Plaza is a great place. I also think it's very reasonably priced for a Disney table service restaurant. My favorite is the grilled chicken and strawberry salad - it's HUGE and delicious!

This will be our OOP choice this trip. We have never tried it but the menu looks great and so do the pics that I've seen in the dining reviews. Looks really good.:thumbsup2

The Plaza would be the place for an OOP TS meal in the MK - only slightly more expensive than CS if you are getting sandwiches and such, but nicer and all that good stuff. :)

We love the Plaza too. Using the TIW card it is about the same cost as a CS and you get somebody to wait on you with no lines or searching for a table.

LOVE the Plaza. It is our last meal before we leave Disney for the airport every trip. Love the burgers, fries and shakes (and leave room for dessert too!). :worship:

Thanks everyone:grouphug:I'll work on DBf now-actually I won't. I book the ADRs so I have the power (mwah-ha-ha):rotfl:

We ate there for the first time a few days ago and liked it!

Dh ordered a meatloaf meal which was a daily special and not on the menu. He said it was excellent! The rest of us enjoyed sandwiches and fries, and the ice cream desserts were yummy! We thought the food portions were generous. It was a great place to take a little a/c break from the park and grab a bite to eat. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.

My dd had the pb&j a few days ago. I'm sad to say that they no longer do the Mickey shaped sandwich. It was a regular sandwich cut in (triangle) half.

DH and I enjoyed The Plaza very much. Since we were not on DDP, we paid OOP and found it reasonable. The tables are close (as true of most Disney venues) but it was not too loud. We were too full for dessert but that ice cream looked wonderful too!

If you have signatures turned on, you can check out the burgers (picture) in my dining report (link in signature). My dining report is very short so the picture is probably on the first or second page.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! :thumbsup2
