Plaza Inn & Carnation Cafe Questions

If you get a seat outside, can you view the parade from there or do people stand in front of you? How early do they open for lunch? How is the food? Do you need ps for these?

I never use PS at DL so don't know if you can get them for those restaurants. I know you can get them at the Plaza Inn for breakfast.
At the Carnation Cafe it is very small and tuxked in next to Main St. The crowds would block your view. They had a bunch of planters on the patio that blocked the view of the parade area at the Plaza Inn. The Parade rout is a bit far away and there will be crowds to block the view there as well. You might get a table on the porch and be able to see some of it.
The Food at Carnation is okay. Nothing great. I love the food and atmosphere at the Plaza Inn.
