Plaza - conflicting reviews

Been going there for 30 years straight -great food and clean,. Themed like a turn of the century icream parlor. Always consistent. Only wish they kept the red skin potato salad on the menu.
oh yum I remember that awesome potato salad!!!!We love the burgers, the reuben, and the tomato soup

We enjoyed our food there, it is, as others have said, a notch above most QS, and the milkshakes are awesome. I would also add, I love the interior now having been to Disneyland for the first time last year, and for some reason the Plaza now reminds me of DL...

Its one of my favorites! Perfect food, not too heavy, to keep you fueled for another round of walking endlessly! And topping it off with ice cream.... Cant be beat. We are always on the deluxe dining plan and can pretty much go wherever we want and The Plaza is always a MUST on my list.

We really like it- especially if we are seated in the room with the stained glass window. Simple lunch items, great sundaes. I remember one time we were in there, there was a crazy downpour outside that we completely avoided while we had our nice leisurely lunch.

I have an ADR thee for 2 weeks from today. This is a solo trip with no one to split meals with. I’ve kinda been thinking about the loaded fries with a sandwich but not sure if it will be too much food. Can they do the loaded fries as the side to the sandwich?

We love it. Great value. Visit twice a trip. Love the tomato sandwich, Phili Cheesesteak, tomato soup, loaded fries, milkshakes, wedge salad (my favourite), club. Never a bad meal there. Amazing with allergies.

We really like the Plaza but we also consider it a step up from QS but not as exciting as many TS places; it's pretty much an ice cream parlor that serves food. We have always had a great quality meal. I will say that because it is so small I do feel like they rush you quite a bit but . . . there are very few places in the parks that I DON'T feel rushed so I don't think that is any different from most WDW TS places. I would much prefer to eat at the Plaza than, say, Cosmic Rays or Pinocchio Village Haus.

Unless the restaurant is having an off day or someone just doesn't like the options at the Plaza, I would imagine that some negative reviews are because some people weren't expecting it to be as casual as it is and felt they wasted a TS credit if they are doing the dining plan?

Are their children's milkshakes? All I saw was the $9 unlimited ones...
