I have not yet been to the Minnie and Friends breakfast inside of DL, though I read all the threads and posts about it. It seems like many folks have a lot of pictures with the characters in their various Trip Reports (WazowskiLOVER and Avalon451 are two I can think of off the top of my head), but I haven't seen a LOT of pictures of the whole Minnie and Friends food spread yet. I have seen a few shots of a some plates here or there, but not a full array of all that's available food-wise. Since I want to eat there soon as well, I would like to see a lot of the food pictures from Minnie's.

As for characters, everything I have read on DIS indicates that there are great characters there - sometimes so many that some of them work one part of the restaurant and the others work the other part. They seem to regularly include Minnie (of course), Chip, Dale, Captain Hook, Fairy Godmother, Pooh, Tigger and sometimes Eeyore. They also have other rotating guest stars who seem to pop up here and there, too. like Gepetto, Max, Smee, etc. It is a good assortment of characters, that is for sure. I have read very mixed reviews of the food, however.

I will be there in a few weeks and will gladly post pictures when I get back. I went a year ago and absolutely loved it but I didn't take any pictures of the food. I'm determined to take pictures of food this time so I'll post them upon return!

Disney Family and I did the Plaza Charecter breakfast and found that it was rather crowded. Although there were various breakfast stations....I found that the food itself was nothing more then standard Cafateria fare....at least compared to the Charecter breakfast at StoryTellers or Goofy's kitchen. Also, I found that it seemed more rush....maybe because there were so many people there inside the cafateria area....as opposed to a nice buffet. Overall, I was not too impressed by it. If you had the time to pick one of the Charecter breakfast to go to.....I wouldn't choose the Plaza Charecter breakfast. Personally, I liked Goofy's kitchen.

I feel similarly. I always wonder what is the appeal of Minnie & Friends - other than the wide selection of characters. We were deeply disappointed in the small, ordinary selection of food and the crowded high school cafeteria-like line up. We are not going this trip.

We just went this past Thursday and we loved loved loved it. The food was great, the CMs working there were fantastic and there were tons of characters and they spent a lot of time with us.

I'll post pictures in my TR soon, but I'm not at that day yet. The only picture of food I took was of my plate, not the food area.

They had waffles, french toast, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, a bunch of different kinds of cereal, biscuits and gravy, made to order omelets, muffins, croissants, danishes, tons of fresh fruit... It's not really a buffet, as the CM serves you (well the fresh fruit, croissants, danishes, muffins, cereal, and drinks you serve yourself, but all the hot food the CM serves you), but they give you a TON of food on your plate. And if you want more you could just ask and the CM would give you more. It didn't have any specialty foods like Lilo and Stitch's or Goofy's has, but it had good solid breakfast food and we totally found it worth what we paid.

I really loved the drink station. You served yourself, which I really liked. They had several different juices, coffees (iced and hot), hot chocolate and they had bottled chocolate and regular milk. They also had sodas and lemonade.

As for the characters we saw Minnie, Tigger, Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, Rafiki, Eeyore, the White Rabbit, Dale and Br'er Fox.

We didn't feel rushed at all. We spent a good hour and a half there, the CMs cleared our tables as soon as we got up to get more food and when we got there the CM hostess asked if we had eaten there before, we told her no, and she showed us around.

We loved it and would definitely eat there again.

I think that it's because it's inside the DL park itself and is more convenient for those that want to go to the park, meet charecters, get a quick breakfast and then head out.

If you go to Goofy's kitchen or Lilo's breakfast....it would take about 30 minutes between finishing eating and getting to the park.

A compromise would be StoryTeller's if you plan to go to DC that same day.

Either way, I would rank the Plaza Charecter breakfast last.
