Playstation Disney cars, Mom needs help!

Okay, I rented the video game cars for my son and its driving me insane. (PS2) My husband is out of town and I am not exactly a video game whizz. If anyone can help us figure out a couple of thing, we would much appreciate it!
1. How do we find the postcards? We only found 5 and we found one that is up on crates and we cant get to it?
2. Why cant I get past level 1 on the tractor tipping? Do we need certain number of points of something?
Its a zillion degrees outside so this is our entertainment for the afternoon!

I know what you mean with the postcards. DS and I played that over and over and still couldn't get them all. I can tell you that some of them won't be found until you are later in the game. There are some in areas that you can get to until you accumulate more points and open new areas of the map or win more boost tanks so that you jump from one mountain to another.

The tractor tipping event is timed I think. Maybe that is why you you can't get through.
