Does anyone know if TRU or any place runs sales on Playmobil? If so what is the sales? TIA

Every now and then, TRU has a 20% off, but only for certain sets (last month was the vet sets).

We've gotten quite a few sets (both small and medium sized) on deep clearance at Kmart. They had a medium sized knight set still there about a month ago that was half off. Make sure you bring things up to a price scanner if you go there, many of them are much less than the marked price.

I want to second this! This is a great place to buy from especially sets that never go on sale other places or the large expensive sets. They also usually have hard to find sets in and at a very good price. I ordered my sons train set from here and it was not only the best price but since it was over $100 had free shipping. Shipping was also fast.

I absolutely love Playmobil stuff!!!! We have some things that are over 20 yrs old and you would never know they weren't new. As an aside the first Playmobile set I ever bought was 21 yrs ago in Epcot/Germany in the toy store!

I've purchased sets for 75% off at the bi-annual Target Toy clearance. I've also had luck on Craigslist. We found the big pirate ship for $15 last week from a Craigslist post.
If you Have a Costco membership they had two big sets in the holiday section, Pirates and an Animal clinic/farm. Both were under $40. The pirates had a medium sized ship, a island with cannon, and an attack octopus, pretty cool.
If you go through Craigslist or Ebay Playmobil is great about ordering replacement parts. It's a good way to order extra pirate hats, or whatever little things you'd like.

My Costco has a pirate set and a pony set for around $25. They are bigger sets.

Target has the animal clinic on sale this week for $35. Normally $39. Not a huge savings - but a sale

I like Ridge Road Station but also check Trains by Mail. Sometimes they have lower prices than Ridge Road Station. Trains by Mail also offers free shipping on orders $69.99 and over. They don't just carry trains...they carry most of the Playmobil line. If you don't see something online, email or call because the owner can get other items not listed.

Our Toys R Us had a huge section in there clearance of Playmobil sets when we were last weekend . May be worth checking yours to see if they have the same type of clearance or call .
