Playing with discounts...help me with the math

Assuming the 15 off most values summer discounts will become public, I'm assuming we take the 15% off the room rate before taxes.

For example:

Online All Star Sports for my date is $141.33 a night. Staying for 3 nights, the total (clicking on the add to cart button) is $479.12, tax is 55.12....room rate itself is $424

My discount would be $63.60, so $424-63.60...$360.40, plus taxes.

Correct??

It looks like taxes are about 11%, so essentially it's just a 4% discount off values when you add taxes in?
9% off moderates? 19% off deluxes??

Just trying to make sure I have my math straight before we pick a resort. Thanks!!

Taxes total 13% at All Star Sports (12.5% at the other non-All Star resorts), for room only rates.

They deduct the "15% off" or whatever before adding the tax. Meaning, you pay tax on the discounted rate.

Go to Orbitz - they do the same summer discount % as Disney (within a day of Disney putting it on its website), and with a promo code (that Orbitz tells you on its home page) you get another 15% off.
