Playing Softball At Disney_ Need Advice

]We are heading downin Oct with our DD's . My oldest is playing in the Disney Softball tournie.

The team is staying at the All Sport. I am nervous about staying there after reading threads here. I have read that it is loud, uncomfortbale, the rooms aer tiny and the walls are thin.

We can stay at The Carib. but we would be away from the team.

Ccan someone/anyone give me some good points about staying at the AllSport??

I need to book in the next few days...

We have been to Disney before but we always stay off site. We will be only staying at Disney 4 nights.

You will be fine.
It can be loud, but it is a fun Disney atmosphere. We stayed here on our first ever trip and loved it.
The positives are that it will be affordable and it is where your daughter's team is staying. And of course... it is Disney!

Any place you may choose to stay that has a large group (kids or adults) staying, will be noisy. Most of the kids will be pretty excited about being there, they will know numerous people, etc. They can't help but be excited. You may luck out and have more quiet neighbors, but you are only there for 4 nights.

Sometimes it's just a crap-shoot as to who else is also staying at the resort.

I usually stay at Ft. Wilderness, but a little over a year ago, I stayed at ASMu. I thought the rooms were of average size for a motel room .... didn't notice any excess noise from next door, etc.

If you want to stay at the same resort as your DD but want something quiet, ask to be assigned a room at the far end of the resort. I would think most of the hoop-la will occur around the pools and closer to the food court.

The rooms are very tiny, if there are more than two people you could get claustrophobic ( I did the one time I stayed there and I'm not a claustophobic type of person!) It would be fun probably for your child since her team mates will be there. You would enjoy the carib better. And yes, the walls are thin.

We are also gong down for softball but in July!! Our team decided to stay off site because All Star said they could not put our team together. If you have looked at the resort you might as well be staying at the Carribean if you are across the resort from your team. We are staying 6 nights at the Carribean and then meeting the team off site for 9 nights. I know I will be bummed when I have to leave but we are there for softball!!!!
