Playhouse Disney show?

Hi All! I've been to the Playhouse Disney show at MGM many times, and have loved it. Has anyone seen it since the refurbishment? What changed?

I am going next week and can give a full report - but - here is what has been reported

they took Rolie Poile Olie out of the show and added JoJo in - put in new carpet and fresh paint -

We were there about 2 weeks ago. They did take Rolie Polie out, and I had replied to an earlier post that I did not see JoJo. DH and DS have politely informed me that yes, JoJo was in the show. (Where was I the whole time??? DUH!!! ) I honestly don't remember seeing her. Oh, well, maybe I was just too caught up in the moment of watching DS dancing and having a good time.

Too bad they did not put seats in when they changed the show.

They did take out Roly Poly Olie and put in Jo-Jo. However, the rest of the show is EXACTLY the same. HTH.

Sad. I love Rolie Polie Oli. Like Jojo too. THought Jojo was a boy though. Never really looked at the show too closely. Wish they would take out the stupid out of the box (but then they wouldn't have narrators, would they. ) Oh well. It still is a cute show.

There is no Out of the Box... it's just Bear, Stanley, JoJo, and Pooh.

Jojo is a girl. I think the PP was refering to "Jamie" the emcee of the show- she does remind me of Vivian from Out of the Box.

Hmmm...Jamie is most definitely a boy. Not sure how he reminded you of Vivian --although he sure looks a lot like Tony!

Oh my, I'm sooooo excited to hear that JoJo has been added! (btw, JoJo is a girl...just like Blue from Blues Clues is a girl but the characters are still loved by little boys too! LOL)

I know that my 18mth old LOVES to see JoJo and just today made me buy him a JoJo t-shirt (for boys of course) at the Disney store! I can't wait to see his face when he sees JoJo!

We saw the Playhouse show last year and though he liked it then, he didn't adore any of the characters they way he loves JoJo and her lion!

There are different Jamies and they tend to switch gender. My DS who was only 2 the last time we were there noticed that a different Jamie was now emceeing the show.

Jamie was a girl at our show, I've seen clips on the Disney channel that shows a male Jamie though.

Thanks everyone! Sounds good. DS will be disappointed b/c he loves Rolie Polie Olie, but he also likes Jo Jo. I wonder why they didn't take out Book of Pooh. I know it's been mentioned before b/c Pooh is elsewhere in the parks, whereas Rolie Polie Olie isn't easy to find.

Still a great show. When we were there in Oct 2004 we had Jamie (the girl) and I thought she was awesome.

When we went in March, Jamie was definitely a girl!!!!!!

in the same trip we have had a girl Jamie and a boy jamie

what are the odds that the girl and the guy they hired for that show were both named Jamie

the guy did look somewhat like Tony from Out of the Box and the girl like Vivian - I hadn't thought of that before
