My question is really a general one.. just wondering what ages this show is geared toward, and what is the content of the show. Who's there? My soon to be 5 year old still likes many of the playhouse disney shows, while my almost 7 year old is starting to lose interest. She does still like Stanley though. Will this show bore her to pieces?

I think she could make it through it to keep the younger child happy. My 9 and 10 year old boys sat through it for DD! It's only about 20 minutes long, give or take a few minutes, I can't remember exactly.

It has Bear, Olie, Stanley and Pooh. It's cute but definitely geared more towards the young crowd, maybe 6 and under? There were plenty of adults and kids over 6 there when we went, though.

Another idea would be to split up if there are more than one adult in your group. If the 7 year old totally isn't interested maybe someone could take her to see/do something else?

My 2 and 4 year olds both enjoyed it but my 2 year old asked repeatedly to go again and we did. He is still talking about it ! You will be so blessed to see the enjoyment of not just your kids but of all the other little ones. If only we could keep them (and life) so simple and innocent!!!

My son was 7 on our last trip and asked to miss this. He as seen it before and really enjoyed it but it really is geared to a younger crowd. So my husband took him on R&RC while I took my dtr (2) to see "polie rolie".

I did see many older children there and most seemed to enjoy it. If she has never seen it before, she will probably like it.

Good luck.

Your older dd won't be bored, I think she'll enjoy it. Even if she is not into the Playhouse Disney shows on TV anymore, seeing them onstage is a whole different thing, it is cool! :) Dh and I weren't bored! :teeth:

Just wanted to add an FYI. You sit on the (carpeted) floor to watch the show. It's slanted a little bit (I think...), but it's good to try to sit in the front or side so you don't have to look over the heads of the people in front of you. We had a BIG guy sitting in front of us so we had to move so our boys could see. :)

We went last week and my 5 year old loved it but her sister who is 7 (soon to be 8) wasn't as entertained. She did get a up a few times to dance and would start but then kind of look around and sit back down.

Dh and I were laughing because you could just see her being torn by whether she should join in or be "older" and cool...it was like her body wanted to dance but her brain was saying "don't do it". :p

She didn't really mind the show and it was the only thing that we enjoyed at MGM...watching my 5year olds face was priceless!!
