Playhouse Disney in Concert at MGM

Has anyone gone to this yesterday or today? How was it run? Where was it at MGM? Are there times listed anywhere? I see that tomorrow is a Mickey's Magic Show. Was thinking about checking it out, but was looking for details first. Thanks in advance.

Edited because I just found out some info from CM at disney:

Mickey's magic show at Soundstage 1 at 10am, 11:15am, 1:15pm and 2:30pm

Wiggles at Epic theater 10am, 11:30 and 1pm

Doodlebops at ABC Theater 10, 11:15, 1:15 and 2:30


If anyone hears any of the times and places for the other shows, i'd really like to know when and where they are. Thanks!

I am not sure but it would be so fun seeing the Wiggles at WDW. We jsut saw them here but Disney would just make the experience so much more fun!!!

Tickets are being given out in the form of Fass Pass from Lights Motor Action. I was also told that the park will open at 6am on the Wiggles days for ticket distribution.

so to get tickets, I need to go to the LMA fast pass machine? Can you choose a later show or just what the machine is showing (or risk it and come back....) Does it count as a fast pass?

You have to take what the machine is giving, though I would guess you could bump yourself back in line a little for a later show.

It will not count as a FASTPASS.

Trying to figure this out... the park will open at 6AM just to distribute Wiggles tickets but otherwise nothing will be open until the normal opening time?

And to get those tickets you have to go all the way *through* the park way back to Lights Motor Action?

Yes it is a little strange. The reason I am told is the they are using that FP machine as it is not tied into the fastpass sytem (so far makes sense), they are doing it via FP, as although it is not tied into the other FP's it will only give you one to that attraction (again makes sense). I think since the seating capacity per day is 6600, it will take a while to put all the tickets in and out of the FP machines, thus the extra time allowed.

They are planning on opening restuarants early as well as gift shops and Muppets 3D.

I was told they are working on if there will be a "finger scan over ride" or not. At the front gate. Thus, allowing Mom or Dad to come get tickets and go back to sleeping children.

Personally, I will be in the world and am greatful DD is older, so I will just avoid MGM.

I HOPE there will be a way to go get the tickets and then go back to the resort. There is NO WAY I will get DD3 and DS6 (along with DH) to go to the park at 6 a.m. to get tickets. Yikes.

I agree! It seems crazy! They'd have to get busses running, the park and restaurants and whatever else open, manage the lines, etc. etc. all just to give out tickets for the Wiggles shows? Surely they realized before now what a big draw they'd be. There must be a better way!

Yes they are all doing tickets at Lights, Motor Action. The show times (and number of shows) vary by performer.

We are also going to be there for the Doodlebops. Is the park open at 6am that day also, or just for the wiggles?

We are going our arrival day and will be lucky if we get to MGM by lunch, I wonder is we will be shut out

Sad that we are missing the Wiggles and the Doodlebops, but DD3 also likes Johnny. I am hoping to hear that we do not have to get to the park to get tickets at 6am. Would make more sense for them to start this at park opening, wouldn't it? I hope they will have some info about this at check in, because I'm sure a lot of people who don't read these boards would be verrrrrrrrrrryyy upset. Also, what about those not staying at a Disney resort, how would they know?

We have 8:05 ADR for Play n Dine @ Hollywood and Vine and were told we needed to bring ressie# to get into the park.

Just saw on Intercot that it confirms the fastpass distribution at Lights, Motors Action! Stunt Show FastPass kiosks for the Wiggles because they are deemed to have "high popularity" (you think!). Doesnt say anything about a start time for getting passes.
Currently the only offering to be announced to have this special Admission are the Wiggles performances on August 29–September 1. Guess we'll have to wait and see what they decide to do for the others.
