When we were at MGM 8/04 they were handing out fastpasses (no Machine) but only on certain days. Is there a fastpass machine there now? Or do you just stand in line?

Thanks

Don't know but...

They can "create Fastpass" temporarily for any ride or attraction (where an entrance path is available around the regular line), and for a show it is quite easy to hand out Fastpasses any time they want.

The only significance of having no machine is that you could get the Fastpass for Playhouse Disney regardless of how many Fastpasses you already hold, and you can fetch a Fastpass possibly immediately for something else unaffected by when you got the Playhouse Disney Fastpass.

I don't know, but we waited on that line for a rather long time in the rain in 2003 so I'd love to see fastpasses available whether by machine or given out by hand. :)

Thanksgiving week 2003 they were handing out fastpasses, with a particular show time stamped on it. We were then able to get a fastpass at one of the regular machines for another attraction.

Thank you all.

I guess it just certain peak times. Just wanted to make sure we get to see 1 of the shows.

We skipped Playhouse Disney our last two trips for that exact reason. No fastpasses and to sit with toddlers for an hour in the sun was a baaaaaad idea.

Can anyone think of a reason NOT to have fastpasses there?

I would love fast passes as well. I guess we really lucked out last year. We were there the first week of June (and will be again this year) and we went straight there when the park opened, I just laid out a blanket by the entrance in the shade and the kids played on the blanket, we were by ourselves for 20 minutes of the wait, then people crowded around, but we had front row seats, it was great. I recommend going first thing, my DH loved it because he went and rode Star Tours and got his picture taken with Chewbacca for Star Wars weekend while we waited in line.

I would love fastpasses for this show! I've taken my 4yo more times than I can count and we never get to sit anywhere but in the back left corner. Might be nice to be a little closer to the action without having to wait an hour. My dd does not do lines well....she has often decided to skip something if we've had to wait more than 15-20 minutes (like Little Mermaid, which I've learned to never attempt w/o fastpasses)
