I think Joseph will like Jo-Jo but I think his Daddy would have liked Toy Story :(

I think they could have chosen better characters for this one, Josh would have liked Toy Story or Bear In The Big Blue House.

That’s really disappointing for me and the kids of course! I would have LOVED a toy story character meal, I haven’t even heard of these guys!
Thanks for the info!

Shame it's not sooner as DS loves JoJo's Circus and Little Einsteins. Just 1 more reason to go back again ;) . Thanks for the info :thumbsup2

I agree, I think Toy Story, certainly, would appeal to a wider 'audience' i.e., the big kids like our husbands :rotfl: and even those of us with girls, especially if they'd included Jessie.

Oh, thats a real missed opportunity. Even my 6 year old has grown out of JoJo's circus - this has really limited appeal. What a disappointment. Toy Story / Monsters would have appealed to a much wider audience. They are basically catering for under 5s only with this, what a shame :( .

How disappointing, it will only attract families with small children. I really liked the idea of a Toy Story breakfast, as it would've attracted all the family

What a shame I was so looking forward to toy story! DS is pleased - he loves Baby Einstein!

My DD is 4 and isnt bothered about this, ( too babyish!) shame we wanted to eat in MGM, but now will eat off site. Thanks Disney saved us some $s!!!!!

Reckon this is doomed to a short lifespan because of it's very limited appeal. I know there were problems with character copyright and other such shenannigans going on but Disney have a wealth of characters at their disposal that could have been used instead. Why not a Villains meal, or a Star Wars character meal (good idea or what?!)? JoJo And Goliath? NO THANKS DISNEY! :furious: :furious: :furious:

I agree, they could have had something with a bit more appeal to all! :sad2:

I have been to the previous H&V character brekkie (when it was Hollywood Minnie and Goofy, etc) - what was wrong with that one in the first place? :confused3

I agree, Nightrain. So many wonderful characters and they choose these! I have 3 small children and none would be interested in this meal one jot! If they had included more Playhouse Disney characters, then maybe (Bear, Rolie Polie Olie, Stanley etc etc) but JoJo and Baby Einstein...pleeeease! I reckon this will be very unpopular and last about 6 months. MGM could have had a wonderful "Movies Breakfast" where they could have had ANY characters from the films - Im sure this would be a winner and Disney could use the parade characters!!

Yep - I have to agree with all the comments that have gone before. It's just got such a limited appeal :sad2: I'm sure Joseph will enjoy it for the next couple of trips at least :)

My fingers are crossed that this is just a quick fix to get a character meal back in MGM whilst they sort out some of the character copyright issues :confused3:

Have booked breakfast there in oct thanks for the info :thumbsup2

This year at least adam(2) & Zac (1) will love it as they adore both programmes

Keep it going disney till we get there :wave2:

Have no idea who these characters are & I can't be the only one

Surely it will have only limited appeal ie under 5's & their families.

Not one for my family I am afraid.

Is it just me or are the prices a little more expensive than usual too?

We also loved the old H&V character buffet but I guess if it was popular they would have continued it? Unless it just happened to coincide with the downturn in visitors post 9/11?

we wont be going, it will definatly look odd two twenty somethings going to a playhouse disney meal, oh well was hoping for toy story

who's going to spend the amount of money character breakfasts cost on characters they don't know and couldn't care about?..
perhaps the under 5 market is that big? Sounds amazing to me that there will be enough people to pay the exhorbitant character meal prices to see these guys...

Our DD will be 5 when we visit in October but I don't think she would be wanting to dine with Playhouse Pals - she's more of a princess: kinda gal! Although, she would have loved the Toy Story bunch, too!

The folks over on the US restaurant boards are also talking about the price increase at this meal and are speculating that there may be an increase on the horizon for all the character meals!

When we were at H&V in 2002, the place was full - so don't know why they discontinued it! :sad2:
