Has anyone done this recently and if so how was it?

My grandson is a huge fan of the show but I am not sure if it is worth swapping out a proper dinner for.

We did the breakfast last June and enjoyed it. My son (was 3 at the time) had a blast and the food was decent. We have booked it again for this summer. :goodvibes

Ooh, I would be interested to know too. We booked this yesterday for our trip next year.

We enjoy the Playhouse Disney breakfast for 2 reasons: my son loves Little Einsteins and we get into the park early for an 8am ADR.

The character interaction is very good. They seem to circulate around quick enough that you can see them twice. The buffet food is plentiful and a good selection. Quality is good (not great but not horrible). The service has always been good each time we've been there. If your kids really like the characters, then I think it is worth it. You can also see all 4 of the Little Einsteins, JoJo/Goliath and Handy Manny all outside the Animation Bldg throughout the day, in case you decide not to attend this meal.

We did this a few weeks ago for breakfast. We really liked the food. There was a lot of variety and it tasted pretty good! We saw several of the characters twice, but no JoJo until we told our waitress we hadn't seen her. She told the lady in charge of the characters and JoJo was at our table within 2 minutes.
I'd try it if your little one is a fan of the the Little Einsteins (although as a previous poster said, you can meet all 4 of them at the character greeting area). They get the kids up to dance a couple of times throughout the meal and they sing and dance to songs from Disney's morning shows. My DD2 loved to get up and dance!
Whatever you decide, have a great trip!

I just booked this today! My sons are going to FLIP! The little one is a HUUUUUUGE Little Einstein fan! I cannot wait!!

Love Hollywood and Vine for breakfast!! It was one of our favorites last trip. My boys are a little old for these characters but the food was delicious!! :)

I'm glad to hear reports that the food is good!:thumbsup2

My kids want to do this when we're there this summer. I'm looking forward to it now! :goodvibes

my kids love doing this one- the character interraction and energy there is great. The food is decent- it's breakfast so they really can't screw it up that badly. We did do lunch there once and it was so awful you couldn't pay me to go back- but bfast is great.

We loved it! The character interaction was great - they spent a TON of time with us. And the food was actually really good - it might be one of my favorites! Both my kids enjoyed it - 3 and 1 at the time.

Does anyone know what the last seating is for breakfast? I was thinking of going on an EMH morning, and thought we'd do some things in the park and then head over for a late breakfast. ;)

We were there for my middle daughter's 1st birthday (2 1/2 years ago) and thought it was great. We're planning on eating there again when we go in May. We'll be celebrating her 4th birthday this time. Our youngest daugher, who's 2 is in LOVE with Little Einsteins, so she will have a blast.

We have done this breakfast our last 2 visits and it was definitely one of our favorites!! The character interaction is fantastic!!!
