My 2 1/2 yr-old DGS loves Hanny Manny right now. I realize this might not be the best character meal on property, but have you done it? Is Manny always there? I'm willing to suck it up on value if he'd enjoy it. TIA.

We had the character breakfast here in November with Manny, Oso, Leo, and June. The kids loved it and the food was better than expected.

Leo, June, Manny and Oso were there on Oct 31. Although the lunch menu wasn't the best that we had, it wasn't bad either. Since I went there pretty much expecting the worse and thought I would leave hungry, I was pleasently surprised about the food. No one left hungry and the girls had soo much fun dancing around with the caracters. Be ready to see your kid leave the table a few times during your meal to go dance and sing

The girls loved it

We went for lunch. The food was terrible. But, my 3 year old dressed up as Handy Manny and it was worth every penny for his interaction with Manny. We went in 2008 for breakfast and the breakfast food was much better.

DS loves Manny and really likes Oso. We aren't familiar with the other 2 characters. We have an ADR for lunch there in a few weeks.

We went for breakfast, and thought the food was tasty. They were awesome because they had REAL maple syrup that they brought out to us b/c DS can't have fake syrup (the syrup that's normally out is the junky stuff (that I was addicted to until about a year ago when I switched for my son's sake)). Boma didn't even have REAL maple syrup, but H&V did. :)

They had some sort of cheesy grits that were tasty; I spent some time in South Carolina and got to like grits. And various other things that were good.

IN addition, they had HM, Leo, June, and Oso, so my son was happy as well. They even came around a second time!

hollywood and vine was my son favorite character meal our past trip. he actually asked to eat there 2x. Handy Manny, Agent Oso and June and Leo was there. the character interaction was one of the best and came several times to our table. the characters do a dance with the kids and a parade,

We ate there for breakfast on Monday. Handy Manny, Oso, Leo and June were the characters there. We thought the food was ok. We thought the interaction from the characters was great!

We ate there for lunch the week of Nov. 29 and the food and experience were good. We actually liked this experience overall better than Chef Mickey's. The characters came around at least twice during our time there. While my son vaguely remembers Leo & June he was over the moon with Manny and Oso. It was definitely a good experience!

My kids love it here. We always do lunch. It is not the most wonderful meal, but it is change from the other meals we eat, so it works for us. We always do a dinner show that same night so it is just the right amount of food to hold us over until later that evening. The characters are really fun. My son loved that last time, Handy Manny fed him his watermelon and then pretended to eat some too. The kids really enjoyed the interactions.

I think this is one of the best character meals now that Agent Oso and Handy Manny are there. Of all of them, this one has the most fun interaction. The cast members and the characters dance to Playhouse Disney music every few minutes. DS5 had a blast in 2010, and 2009.

We did see Handy Manny outside the Animation Building too, but NOT Oso... H&V may be the only place to see Oso... not sure and I didn't ask... but we went by the Animation building several times and never saw Oso outside with the others.

Breakfast was just as good as breakfast anywhere. Lunch wasn't the best, but good enough. They really could improve the lunch food there. Dinner food is just as plain (and no characters).

Disclaimer -- I have not been to Chef Mickey's, Akershus, or Cinderella's Round Table. Been to all the others at least once.

we went for breakfast back in November and it was amazing! The food was good, but the look on my sons face (hes 3), while he got to see Manny, Oso, June & Leo. Just could not top it. It even brought tears to both our eyes watching him. It was our best meal the entire trip. :thumbsup2

Ugh, this is the only character lunch we are doing -- the rest will be breakfast and dinners. What are the lunch offerings? Not that we're going for the food anyways.....

We did breakfast in October and we loved it. Our 2.5-year-old had the time of her life. The food was perfectly fine, pretty much standard, but the characters were great. They dance with the kids every 15 minutes or so and DD still talks about dancing with Leo. We have it booked again for our next trip.

I just switched this from lunch to breakfast yesterday, sounds like it is the way to go. I picked it because my DS2 likes HM and Oso but it is my DD4 really wants to go too! I asked if we could switch to Donald Safari and she wants to see June and Leo....glad to hear the character interaction is good.
