I was thinking that it would be handy to start a list of play places for little ones to stop along the I-5 highway. We'll be driving down again soon, I'm sure and it really helps to find the McDonald's and other fast food places with a play area for the children to burn off some steam. So, does anyone have a favourite rest stop along the way? If you are driving down, keep this thread in mind and make note of the exit and town of any "play places".
Thanks so much!

There is a Mc Donalds play place in Buttonwillow down by Bakersfield. And there are plenty of roadside rests along the way with grass in them for little ones to wander in and get rid of the wiggle bugs. There might be a play place in Flag City near Stockton also. North of Stockton there are several roadside rests unfortunately there will be a long stretch there where there isn't a roadside rest. I believe there might be a play place in Williams, California. Maybe someone will know about Oregon and Washington. I am mainly familiar with California. Have a good drive. When are you going?
