Do I understand this correctly if I buy the Sea World/ Aquatica ticket with the play and dine promo code my passes will be good for 14 days. Then I will also have a voucher to redeem for 1 day of food at sea world and 1 for 1 day of food at aquatica. Has anyone used this were the lines long at the food places? Is it unlimited eat when and what you want or do you need to eat a a certain time? I can get tickets from MILs union for 88 so I added in the cost of the unlimited meal plan at each park for one day and we end up saving 10 for the adults and nothing for the kids. I am considering getting it for DS and DH. Any opinions?

Yes that is correct. I don't know how aquaticas works but at #2 it is unlimited eating all day til 30 mins before closing of the park. Each time through the line you are allowed to get 1 side/dessert 1 enntree and 1 drink. Or any combination like just a drink or side and drink. Whatever you want. It is good at all restaurants except for Sharks and Dine w Shamu. The lines vary through out the day. They also serve breakfast at Seafire or Voyagers. You would have to look at the map when you get there to see which one. We went for the holidays and it was at voyagers but then when we went back during non holidays it was seafire. I say its worth it. For my family we always get it and save money everytime. I would get the pass for everyone.

The all day dining at Aquatica is offered at one location only (the Banana Beach Cook Out). All food must be consumed within the restaurant boundaries and cannot be taken back to your lounger or cabana. The food is okay but nothing outstanding (includes, among other things, pizza, hot dogs, barbecued chicken legs, pulled pork, garlic buns, watermelon, un-iced chocolate cake, etc.). I think the restaurant opens at 11 am, but I'm not certain when they close. Its good value for sure (with the all-day dining, you can return to the restaurant as many times as you wish on the date of your visit) but its not gourmet by any stretch.

I don't think that the all day dining deal at SW is for all of the restaurants except for Shamu and Sharks (but I could be mistaken).

From the SW website regarding their all day dining deal:
"Participating restaurants: Voyager’s Smokehouse (excluding Baby Back Ribs), Seaport Pizza, Terrace Garden Buffet, The Spice Mill, Seafire Inn, Mango Joe’s®"

So to me it reads that the all day dining deal is restricted to these restaurants...but that's are still a lot of options. The menus are on line if you want to make sure there's stuff your family will eat. We used the playanddine code and am happy just to not to have to worry about food for those two days of our trip.

Do your 88$ tickets include Aquatica admission as well? If so that is awesome!

All the participating restaurants you listed are all the restaurants that SW has. And yes there are only two not listed Sharks and Dine with Shamu.

Yes the 88 ticket is for Sea World and Aquatica for 14 days. I know I want that for me. I'm being careful about what I eat because I just lost 100 pounds and still have more to go. So I tend to pack my food where ever I go. And the play and dine was more fore the kids than just buying the 81 kid tickets and paying for the all day dining separate.

And so much food, can tempt us. I love the all day dining deals as well. But have the same problem. I will sometimes get my hubby to get me fruit with his. Congrats on the weight loss. It's hard, I also have just lost 55 pds but have about 45 more to go. Hard on vacay.

Just in case you are interested, there are some healthier choices available with the all-day dining. Fruit cups (and whole fruit), bottled water, salads, wraps and sandwiches are all readily available if you want to avoid burgers, fries, pizza, chicken, etc.

You can still get the plan and not blow the diet to smithereens :) .

Thanks :). Like I said, I could be mistaken. There were other restaurants listed on SW's website like Expedition Cafe and Island Eats that were not listed under the dining deal. Since I've never been to SW before I was just going off of the website info.

OP (and others)...good for you on the weight loss! The amount of walking will help offset some of the potential hazards of theme park food but I always carry things like snack bars, cheese sticks or a mini bagel & PB in case I need to shut my stomach up between meals. It helps me avoid the potential for bad decisions when we finally fo stop to eat ;). Good luck!

Those are the snack shops. And unfortunately they are not included in the meal deal. Would be nice if they just did drinks. Would help save time throw the lines for a drink at times. Although if you hit seaport pizza at the right times it is very easy to grab a drink or a side too. Its like a small trailer you walk through and they only serve personal size pizza so not a lot of options for people to choose from and take more time through the line. And with a nice covered patio seating area on the side nice place to take a break.

Thanks for the clarification Angelmom27. I remember reading on the DIS that the snack bars weren't part of the SW Dining deal...it never occurred to me that they'd have names like the restaurants :rotfl:.

Sorry if I made you more confused OP!

Thanks for all the great info and for the congrats on the weight loss. Now that I have tickets sorted out I need to focus on car rentals ugh
