Platinum Plan no longer includes Victoria and Alberts?

1) I guess too many V&A dinners were from Platinum Plan.
2) Think of it as an improvement on the plan.
3) How, I don't know.
4) But, WDW never takes away, just "improves"
.

Best way to determine the exact policy is to call Victoria & Alberts and ask if they accept the Platinum Package Plan.

I have a tendency, based on the track record for inaccuracy, to doubt info from both the WDW website and WDW DINE, but V&A has their own phone line.

LMAO!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:
I loved when they "improved" the DDP by taking away gratuity & apps.

They also improved the heck out of Pleasure Island (if they were looking for a ghost town).

It's included on the list of dining options in the 2010 Platinum brochure that is linked from the above url that you listed. I'd call and ask though just to be sure.

It's on both PDF files that are linked from your original posted link, but there's fine print:

***Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa extends the Premium Menu to Disney Platinum Plan Guests. If you wish to upgrade to the Chef’s Table,
Elite Menu, or include Royal Wine Pairing with your meal, additional charges apply and will be handled separately from the Disney Platinum Plan.

I can't find that line anywhere?

It's a bullet point under "Special Dining Experiences" as follows (cut and pasted). I put the bold font on the line in question.

Special Dining Experiences
You can also enjoy special dining experiences that your family will remember for a lifetime, such as:

Character Dining Experiences
Or

Signature Dining Experiences (excluding Victoria & Albert's)
Or

Private In-Room Dining at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
Or

Disney Dinner Shows
Or

Grand Gathering Experiences (see below)

I agree with TDC Nala in that I tend to trust the printed brochure (pdf) vs the Disney World site and that the best way to confirm that the brochure is correct is to call V&A's line directly.

I hope they stay on the Platinum plan, I've always wanted to do a night or two of the Platinum plan and then split out to a non-package reservation on a solo trip with my DH.

This is in the PDF?

No. This was on the page linked in the first post by Mom21. This is not the first time something on the website was incorrect. They did something similar on the food and wine festival page last year but corrected it later.

I just booked my reservation for August, and while the CM was explaining the pricing she said "Oh, you're on the Platinum plan, your plan covers this meal."

So, Victoria and Albert's is still on the platinum plan. Weird wording on the Disney site.

Cool can I ask you about the platinum plan? I want to have it for 2 nights, but on the 3rd day check into another hotel only on the Deluxe Plan. Can I still use my credits (say for Vic and Alberts and the carriage ride or the fireworks cruise) after I have checked into the new hotel. Is it like the regular plan where things don't expire until midnight of checkout day or once I checkout do I lost those privledges?
