Hello all!
I haven't posted in quite some time, but I am now in the midst of planning my next dis vacation and I'm looking for some advice. I'm thinking of booking the 2006 Platinum Package and I wanted to know if anyone else was going to try the package and do you think it's worth it. We are planning at staying at the Grand Floridian and want to do something really great. I want this to be one of those incredible once in a lifetime vacations ( it will most likely be for our honeymoon)
, but I also don't want to pay upwards of $10,000. I'd really appreciate any feedback on the package and the resort, I've only stayed at the Yatch Club before and I wasn't too happy with our Sept 05 visit there.

We had an extremely packed schedule, and had a blast, but if you're looking for a nice relaxing trip and want to come out ahead $-wise, Platinum is not the way to go. I had priced everything out before we went, and we really wanted to try some of the package components that aren't available on the other plans. But we couldn't afford it for our entire 12-night stay, so we just did 3 nights (the minimum allowed) at the end of our stay. Worked for us, but I think you really need to sit down and consider how much of it you would actually use - and how much you can eat. If you have any questions, just ask and I'll try to help
