I made a reservation and now I have found an alternative that suits us better. How do I cancel the first one? The deposit has not been paid, but is due tomorrow night I think. What happens if I don’t pay the deposit and it’s a concierge booking? Am I still charged for the deposit since it’s concierge?

I thought it was a hold until the deposit was paid.? If you had paid, you could call and move the deposit to another cruise.

Is that true? This is the first time I haven’t had Costco book for me. I was worried that because it is Concierge that the usual hold policy would not apply. If someone could educate me, I’d really appreciate it. I have not paid a deposit yet, but I am afraid to go ahead and book another cruise.

OP again, all this very intricate planning then I CHOKED, panicked and booked the first thing I saw. Hahaha.

If you just have a hold and have not paid a deposit it will cancel at midnight on the 'due' date. If you don't want to wait for that you'll want to call in and speak with a CM.
