When you hit the platinum level you receive the complimentary Palo dinner...that happens just the first time you hit this level? If you continue to cruise an 11th time, do you receive this dinner complimentary every time you cruise after this??

Thanks

Chris

You may also use it for Brunch as well, if it is offered on your itinerary.

we will be platinum before years end, so we are looking forward to the perk.

One point of clarification is that you will not reach Platinum status until AFTER your 10th cruise so the first free Palo visit will be on your 11th cruise, and you will continue to get a free Palo visit on future cruises (until or unless DCL changes the award details).

THIS!!!! You'll get it on your 11th and every one there after. You are not platinum until you complete your 10th sailing. And it can be used for dinner or brunch.

And, the free Palo benefit applies to everyone booked in a cabin that has at least one Platinum member.

We had our free palo meal this past week(15th cruise) and we received $10 off a brunch too!(for the two of us) we were also lucky enough to book a second palo dinner as the take up on the repo cruise to the med was very low for some reason?

That's interesting about the $10 off brunch. Was that just a pixie dust for you or something new?
What ship were you sailing?

It was on the Magic....not sure if it's the norm? My DH normally foots the bill but it was my treat to him this time so I got the receipt. It may have been pixie dust as we had the same server for the three visits....anyhow she got it back as a tip if it was pixie dust

Curious - was this pretty recent? I ask because we were on the 6/29/15 Norway/Iceland/Scotland cruise and we did a Palo Brunch with was complimentary as I'm Platinum. I reserved it when it was $25, however they increased to $30 before our sail date but they agreed to honor the $25 (although it was free technically). I noticed they had adjusted it and I want to say they did 2 x $30.00, then issued a credit of $10.00 for the two of us, which is the difference of $30.00 vs. $25.00. I'm wondering if yours was the same scenario? It was odd - we ate with two other couples on our sailing and one was charged $30.00 incorrectly as they had booked before the price increased which they acknowledged then correctly adjusted it and the other couple was charged correctly for $25.00 p/p.

This is how they adjusted our price at Palo earlier this year as well, because we'd booked before the price increase.

This was Sunday just passed. Maybe it was because we booked before the price increase too?
