Platinum folks ... a poll for you.

Should club level be a valid Plat upgrade (instead of a suite)?

  • Heck yeah! I would upgrade to Club instead of a suite.

  • Why not? I prefer the suites, and would probably never take advantage of it though.

  • No. Upgrades are fine as they are. Don't mess with it.

  • I have no idea what you're talking about.

  • I don't care because I'm not Platinum & probably never will be.

  • Other. Please tell us.

Platinum Peeps:

Would you like the choice to select club level as a comped upgrade OR a comped suite upgrade?

I love club level. Well, fine, I love RPR Club level. The problem is that LF benefits do not apply to club level. So, we built ourselves up to Platinum staying Club. Now, I can't justify spending the extra $$ on club when we can have suites for so much less. If they opportunity were offered, I would jump on the chance to pay the standard rate and get a comped club floor room. I am in no way saying that the suite option should be removed. I'd just like more of a choice.

Plus, this would not preclude Platinum families of 4 or 5 from staying at the RPR or HRH (maybe this is what they're afraid of?).

How do you vote?

Poll coming.

I think it would be a great choice to have.

However, as a family of 5, we would always choose the suite over the club and then just pay the upgrade for the club.

The suite upgrade is the cost of a second room per night for the parlor, while the club is usually only a $60 - $75.00 upgrade.

For us, with a family of 5, we would probably spend about that for breakfast anyway. And we love the convenience.

As a choice, I would never choose club over a suite. The value of the added space far outweighs the value of club to me. If however, a suite wasn't available, I would like to see club as an alternative.

I so wish club were just an extra $60-75 at RPR or HRH. Everytime we've gone, they've wanted $100/night, which is reasonable for a family of 5, but a family of 2 makes that paid upgrade a little expensive. Since we're only 2 people, we don't really need the space, though we like it. The convenience of club is awesome though. I want both. And don't they know who I am?! :rotfl:

I agree Jodie, I want both too. I think if you are plat. you should have club added to your suite at no charge.

They do need to offer something for those staying Club that are platinum as it seems a pretty pointless loyalty program for those staying Club
