Platinum Card!

Got my Lowes's Platinum card in the mail today

Interestingly (and to fuel the old question ) my last two stays were both APH rates ($159 at RPR in June and $149 at HRH in Jan.) so I totally wasn't expecting to move up yet. Not that I'm going to call and complain.

Yup, it happens. I think it all depends on who checks you in. Congrats and enjoy! The only thing with APH is that you normally wouldn't get an upgrade but lots of people seem to get qualifying stays with that rate.

I posted about getting my Platinum card awhile back. Have stayed one qualifying night at RPR and had one stay, 5 nights, on the APH rate at the PBH. No math I used could qualify me for platinum but as you said - I wasn't going to call and complain.

Same here I always book with aph or florida rate and got my
platinum card.

When I booked a stay for oct I had to use aaa to get a upgrade
though.
