Platinum AP to Platinum Plus AP?

My family has the Platinum APs and it occurs to me that we'll want to hit the water parks this summer. The discount for AP holders is just $4 for a day visit, and a Waterpark AP is about the same price as two visits at $115. So, that brought me to look at the difference between Platinum and Platinum Plus - $80 difference...this seems the way to go if we are indeed able to upgrade.

So my questions are:
A. Is this possible?
B. We would do it at a ticket window, correct?
C. We got our APs via my CM cousin (who moved on from The Mouse about a month ago), will the bridge amount be the difference between face value or between her CM price was for the Platinums and the standard Platinum Plus price? (Frankly, her discount was not that much, so it would still be worth it for us to upgrade if it is the latter).

I upgraded our regular DVC annual pass to the DVC gold annual pass in January. I did it at EPCOT guest services and the difference in price was the exact price between the two different annual passes.

The price will not be pro-rated based on the amount of time left on your annual pass. The upgrade price is the same on day 2 or day 360.

C) Cast discounted tickets and APs can be price bridged, but I think the APs use a different procedure and the CM might have issues with it. They can get a coordinator to help if they need to. It should bring the Platinum pass to the gate price and then you pay the difference between gate for Platinum and gate for Plat+.

We have platinum AP's and paid for water park admission today. Can we use that cost towards the Platnium Plus upgrade?

I am sure they will do it.
If, for some reasons, they do not, you might upgrade your ticket to a water parks AP.

Thank you! Unfortunately I just realized that we left the tickets at the hotel and they aren't in our MDE so we probably won't be able to take advantage.
