Hi everybody! As of today, we are four weeks out from our very special trip to WDW! I have been a couple of times before, but don't remember the first and didn't get to do a whole lot on the second (we foolishly visited with no plan over the fourth of July  ). This is my BF's first ever trip to Disney!

If you have a moment, please feel free to peruse through my itinerary and offer any suggestions you might have. We are an adult couple traveling alone, and I really want this trip to be extra special! :cheer2:

TIA!

Sunday, December 3rd: ARRIVAL DAY. Arrive at GF around 10ish and check in. Head for MK and do a few rides before our late lunch ADR at LTT. Return to hotel for a nap, as we will be getting up around 3AM that morning. MK has EMH this day, and is the only chance we will have to see Spectro, so we will definitely be watching that. We will probably do EMH unless the crowds or unbearable or we are to tired or both!

Monday, December 4th: Head to Epcot and do Future World in the AM. Head back to GF for a nap, and hopefully get to have the afternoon tea served in the concierge lounge. Walk over to Poly at around 5:30 PM so we can be on the beach in time for Wishes at 6:00. After watching Wishes, we have an ADR at Kona. Following this, we may go to the TTC and catch a bus for MGM, which has EMH this evening.

Tuesday, December 5th: RESORT SWITCH DAY. Head to Animal Kingdom in the morning and get in the major attractions. Head over to AKL and check in, maybe check out the concierge lounge and/or take a nap. There are only five rooms available in the category we have booked, so checking in early will likely have no bearing on room requests being granted. After our nap and check in we may or may not return to Animal Kingdom, depending how much touring we got in before check in. We have an early evening ADR at Boma. After this, we will head over to the Boardwalk area and view the gingerbread carousel. We will end our night by entering Epcot through the International Gateway and watching Illuminations.

Wednesday, December 6th: Sleep in a little before heading to Epcot to tour World Showcase. Lunch ADR at Le Cellier. More WS touring after lunch. Head to MGM in the evening to see Osborn Lights and Fantasmic.

Thursday, December 7th: DEPARTURE DAY :guilty: Sunrise Safari followed by Tusker House breakfast in early morning. Go back to whatever we want to do again. Leave on ME around 4:30.

Why on earth do you need to get up at 3am!!! What time does EMH start....4:30am?!?!?!

um the day she is getting up at 3am is her arrival day. She probably has an early flight. I know we have an early flight as well..

wow you are there same time as me! we too are doing MK on the sunday, EP on the monday, and then tues is MGM wed is animal kingdom thurs is epcot friday is MK.

anyway looks like a great schedule to me. have a great trip!

We will be there the same time too. We are staying at WL and will be getting yp at 3 am to catch our flight. We plan on going to MK on Sunday because I think there is a EMH there that night. I think the plan you have sounds good. Don't forget to check out the EMH for your trip.

We are also arriving on that Sunday and heading over to MK. I am a bit worried about the Christmas Parade taping and the EMH that night. Might be extremely busy.

You say you would like to head back to your resort after lunch for a nap - but you may not be able to get your room that early... That is also a concern for us.

My only advice (in my best Tom Hanks voice) is "THERE'S NO NAPPING AT DISNEYWORLD!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: Sorry, I just don't believe in wasting my precious park hours sleeping, especially if I'm only there 4 days! But to each his own, right?

Other than that, your plans look good. :thumbsup2

Thanks everybody. And yes, we have an early flight (6:30 AM) and live and hour from the airport, so we will have to leave the house by no later than 4 AM. 4 AM sounds OK when you're heading to Disney, though! :cloud9:
