Planning with family on MDE

We will be traveling with my in-laws in October. I have a MDE account and so does my mother-in-law. I sent her a request to link our accounts and she accepted. When I log into my account and look under reservations and tickets, I can see her reservation and her ticket. However, I can't see my father-in-laws ticket and she has linked a ticket to his name And she can only see me when she logs in and not my husband or daughter even though they also have tickets linked. What are we doing wrong? Probably not a big deal right now, but it will become an issue come August when I want to make FPs for everybody.

We had this trouble, I think we sent invites to each other for each person individually which sent an email in which we could approve them joining our circle. Not sure if that is the easiest way but it worked. You also have to make sure your settings allow sharing your friends list.

We've traveled with family and have linked up our MDE accounts so that we can see all of them. The trick is to make sure that everyone on both your MDE account and your MIL's account are marked as family with permission to view all plans and purchase pictures. You will need to be able to see everyone's names if you plan to select fast passes for them.

I ended up having to call Disney IT to have them link us up probably, because my son hadn't set his up MDE account correctly and I couldn't see the grandsons. They fixed it easily and were very nice to deal with.

Last years trip there were 5 of us on 3 separate packages and 3 MDE accounts so we had to link them all. We had to send an invite to each person... my Moms account had her and my stepdad and my sisters account had her and her DH. I was able to see all 5 of our names but under reservations and tickets, my sisters park hoppers wouldn't show up. I also had to eventually call Disney IT and they were really great and got it all situated and her tickets ended up showing up. It had something to do with having to send another invite to family and friends again. That whole thing sometimes confuses me. But if you call IT, they are very helpful and will get it all sorted out on the phonecall.

For the ones who aren't showing up... Are you seeing their name at least on MDE and not their tickets? Or are you not seeing them at all? I was able to see names but just my sisters tickets weren't showing.

Easiest thing to do is just call the IT department for Disney. They normally handle all situations I've had with MDE and Magic Bands and have saved some headaches.

Thanks for all the replies. I think the website was having issue yesterday because when my mother-in-law tried to accept the invite I had sent her husband, it kept coming up with an error. I resent a request this morning and hopefully it will work this time. I'll have her send request for my DH and DD. If that doesn't work, one of us will call. I don't like calling so I'm hoping the website will be working and we can figure it out.

The website still wasn't letting us accept invitations so I called today and spoke with a very helpful gentleman who fixed our issues.
