Planning Weddings for those Not-yet Engaged!

Hey gals!

I'm just sitting here watching Christmas movies on ABC Family lol.

Mandy, aren't you a little early for Thanksgiving? That's on Thursday...

Hey girls, hope everyone's weekend has been good so far :goodvibes

Yesterday DBF and I got dinner at our favorite sushi place and after we went to see Twilight (which was awesome!) We had some time to kill between dinner and the movie, so we stopped at Game Stop and DBF got me Animal Crossing on the Wii  It is lots of fun and besides sleeping in until 4, all I have done all day is play it

I'm tired, lol
It was kind of a bad day, I was bummed all day. And now I'm trying to study for my philosphy test tomorrow. I really shouldn't leave my studying for the last day, lol

I've been thinking a lot today and I think the day is quickly coming up to have a serious discussion with DBF about the future. He's going to college next year and there's a lot we have to talk about.

ooh big tough conversation! Good luck!!!

DBF and I slept in until 12 noon today then we got up and watched so TV, then I fell back asleep on the couch at 1 and slept till 5 so then we deceided to go to Outback for dinner... now we are watching the USF/CONN game (go USF!!)....

I have to work everyday this week (12 hour shifts) except Thursdaym tbu then I am helping my mom cook for 19 people..... Then Mom and I are going to Miami for my cousins 40th B-day... I am going to have a busy week...

BTW I emailed DBF the ring I want and I made sure to put the size..LOL....

I know he wants to marry me but he just has to make the commitment..

He asked me if I had started planning it and I said I can't until you put a ring on my finger...

Hope everyone has a good week...

I looked at wedding dresses for a while yesterday. I love pretty dresses.

I really liked Twilight. I saw it Saturday night with my girlfriends. We all liked it. Although the moment when Bella roded to school with Edward for the first time and he opens the door for her, i had this flash back moment to the '80s movie Once Bitten...:lmao:

I loved how dorky Charlie was..his pepperspray was classic.
After the movie we went to Sportys had a few drinks and then went to the moose where my friends husband was the DJ.
It was fun.

Before the movie I had to text John..
I was like OH EMM GEE!!! TWILIGHT IS STARTING!!
He was like OMG! Have fun!!

We are still working on our issues, ok so mostly they are his issues but..slowly but its best for right now.
I love him and he loves me, but he had a pretty horrible marriage so I understand.

I hope everyone had a great wknd.

ooh I miss looking at wedding dresses...though I did thoroughly enjoy playing in and trying on bridesmaid dresses for my friend's wedding before I finally picked mine! I really prolonged the process, cause I really just wanted to try on lots of pretty dresses...
did you see anything you liked??

I get in that kind of mood. I'll go to the mall and try on fancy dresses that I have no reason to buy just to enjoy the prettiness.

I saw some. I've been married before, so I don't want anything majorly fancy. I really don't want a train, but I want it white, or ivory and for it to look like a wedding dress. I don't think I want a veil either. I just want a tiara, with my hair partially down.

disneychickforever Hey gals!

Lol yea but his mom does it early since everyone goes somewhere different ON Thanksgiving. It was nice though.

Yeah, I heard that song. There was some dude who mastered the choreography perfectly and was performing it on some talk show...I forget which one though lol.

Yay for booking Disney trips!! I might be going in January for DBF's birthday, but we'll see, it depends if I'll be able to walk yet by then. I already have to miss out on the New Years Eve trip. Stupid knee surgery

My disney trip is like 2 weeks away!!! I'm so excited! :D

Though right now I feel horrible. Looks like I have some kind of cold. My whole body hearts and my throat is killing me... -_-

Aw! I hope you feel better Laura! Better to get sick now then at Disney though!

Okay guys, I need your help. I might be getting some money before the holidays, and I want to use some of it for a gift "from Santa" for the whole family. It'll be for my sisters (one autistic one ADHD) and my parents. No one will know about it, it'll just magically be sitting under the tree Christmas day. And I don't plan on fessing up that I got it to my parents.

I was thinking about getting a Wii with Wii Fit, but what else can I get with it? Is there any family oriented games I can/should get? You know, something family oriented (ie no violent games) that everyone will enjoy (ie no Dora the Explorer games either lol)

So any ideas?

Wow that sounds awesome! I think a wii with a wii fit is an awesome gift and there are a ton of family games you can get! That is so sweet of you!

I really like the Samba de Amigo game for Wii! It's all about shaking maracas and it's so much fun! :goodvibes

I looked at wedding dresses for a while yesterday. I love pretty dresses.

I love looking at wedding dresses for absolutely no reason other then to look at pretty dresses

That scene where they get out of the car is totally straight out of an 80's movie, with his sunglasses and all :rotfl:

That's so exciting  Are you going to start a new pre-trip report? I'd love to hear about all of your plans :goodvibes

Oh! I can help! My favorite games for the Wii are Mario Party 8, Wii Sports, Mario Kart and my current favorite, Animal Crossing. With the exception of Animal Crossing, all the other games can be played with up to 4 people. And if you get a Wii we can exchanged friend codes and if we have any of the same games, we can play together :)
