Planning Weddings for those Not-yet Engaged!

I aways have to say "and exactly who will be giving birth?? Oh yeah, me. Overruled." What are these boys thinking.

He once said we should name our first boy James thumbsup2) Gannendorf eek:.) It's a character from Zelda and it was one of the names he considered for his cat, who is now named Link. Can you imagine? "'Honey, we named you after a character from Zelda. And by the way, we almost gave the name to our gimpy cat, but figured it was best suited for our first son. Enjoy his sloppy seconds!"

So, guess I shouldn't volunteer the information that my oldest daughter was named after a Mortal Kombat character?

I can't talk much. I wanted to name my son Sasuke after the Naruto character, DBF said no, lol. I changed my mind though, now I wanna call him Edward. DBF is still not happy.

He can't talk either though, he'd probably name the kid Goku or something like that.

Edward is a good, solid name

I guess I shouldn't talk too much though...my favorite girls name is Aurora. Yes, after my favorite Disney princess.

I have a cat named Sasuke! DD (18) is an Anime' fan. All of our animals get fun names. I'm scared if she ever has children.

Animals getting crazy names is cool with me. My cat is named Caboose, which is a character from this internet show based on Halo. Kids though have to live with these names much, much longer then animals do.

Rayden is the name I assume you are talking about, right? See, that name is pretty, it flows and doesn't sound awkward. Gannendorf...not so much. I can't even imagine my poor Hispanic Grandparents attempting to say that. Plus if you're into it, that's cool. I'm not so much a video game nerd as DBF is. I actually have never even played a Zelda game. Also...I figured if it was a contender for a cat name it should be crossed off the list of future kid names too, but that's just me

DBF lives & breathes video games. I had met some video game fans prior to DBF but none of them quite compare to him. He's crazy obsessed

I can't complain too much though...he is making a living off of them (and there is TONS of money and room for advancement in that field )

I think DBF may end up taking the same route. Though he's not suppossed to be playing as many video games as he is because he recently got carpel tunnel in one hand because of it...

Speaking of kids...DBF said he wants to start maybe having kids when he is 30. He'll be 27 in June...3 years! I told him that is too soon.

Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA.

My boyfriend and I are seriously talking about getting engaged soon, we even went ring shopping. He also had me call DFTW today to get on a site visit before our Disneyland trip in June. It was so awkward calling though :-/. I kinda wish I didn't till after we were engaged, because then it feels more legit, but he seems confident that it'll happen soon.

I know he does, and so do I, but we would both like to be more financially stable before having a kid. We also don't want to raise kids in Louisiana and we want to have a house, so we have a lot to do before we can have kids. Also if we aren't married prior to having a child my dad would shoot him.

I don't think I'll be much help though, I suck at buying presents. DBF is so easy to shop for, he always wants a video game or food. What is your DBF into? Has he been wanting something lately that he hasn't gotten yet? When is his birthday?

DBF is into video games and music mostly, but he always has the newest stuff. After 2+ years together it's hard to come up with something I haven't given him already. His b-day is June 6th, same day as mine.

Wow, that's so weird (but kind of awesome) that you guys share a birthday. I wish I could help you, but I'm so clueless on gifts for boys. Can you bake or cook? Maybe make him a nice cake and/or dinner?

Jamie's birthday is on June 27th. I'm planning on making him another really awesome cake. I made him a killer Zelda cake two years ago that he loved. I'm thinking something LOST themed this year
