Greetings All,

After my first few posts and getting some great responses, my fiancee Amy and I have decided that renting points for our Disney wedding is the way to go!

We are looking to be a WDW for a full week (Su-Sa) in either early Feb 2004 or early Sep 2004). I realize that this is a ways off, but those of you DVC members that think ahead and may want to rent some points, please contact me. Our preference is a One Bedroom at either OKW or BWV (standard view).

We're aware that DVC members are only allowed to book at their home resort 11 months in advance, but we like to plan ahead.

Again, thanks and we hope someone out there can help.

If you are undecided about when to get married and go to WDW may I suggest Sept instead of Feb. Feb is mostly a peak time month and the weather is often iffy at best. September is off peak and the weather is a guarantee.
Good luck with your wedding plans.

May your wedding day be grand and generously sprinkled with pixie dust for good luck!!!

Gee, I thought the weather was great in February - clear but kind of cool for swimming, etc - but that's my favorite kind of weather.

FWIW, we were at WDW end of September / first of October a couple of years ago and it was extremely humid, high 90's and rained every day. A friend of mine went in September the year after and said the same thing. Remember that September is still prime hurricane season and, even if a hurricane passed by the area, it could dump a great deal of rain for a few days.

Not everyone agrees on what is great weather; we're just not happy in hot, humid weather and prefer it cooler. September should be great for low crowds. If you decide on February, I'd stay away from the time around the Presidents' week holidays.

Best of luck with your wedding plans.
