I just discovered this website and have been reading everyone's great tips and experiences! We are planning to take our two boys (3 & 4) to WDW for the first time, and then also take the Disney 7 day cruise. We were thinking of doing WDW the last week of Feb. 06 and the EAstern Carribbean cruise the week starting March 4th. What is the weather like then? We are from Canada so enjoy escaping the cold weather mid winter. I know weather wise it's probably better later in hte year, but we were hoping to have a warm mid winter break. Any suggestions or advice??
Thanks!! :)

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

Average high temperature for the end of Feb is in the mid-70s, with average morning lows near 50. But those are just averages. It can be cool if you are looking for really warm weather. There can be days that have morning lows in the 40s and daytime highs around 60, or even staying in the 50s. On the other hand, it has been known to get into the 80s during the day, so I guess my point is...the late Feb/early March weather in Central Florida is very unpredictable!!

We went the first week of March this year and they were having an "unusual" cool snap. We are from Tennessee so I am used to pretty cool weather in the winter. It was pretty cold. Our girls (2 and 4) wore long pants and jackets. By mid afternoon it was warm enough to take off the jackets, but if you stood in the shade it was still cold. I'd say just keep an eye on the weather. You can usually find a forecast for 10 days out. (not that they always know for sure what the weather is going to be like 10 days ahead of time ;) ) But it may give you and idea.... :flower:

This is the week that we went last year. It was chilly at night but during the day it was in the 70s to low 80s. We wore shorts every day and the kids swam at the hotel. I know it isn't always this warm and we were lucky. I was like a crazed person watching the Accuweather 10-day forecast before I left. We thought the weather was pretty good and we are giong that week again in 2006. I'll keep my fingers crossed for me and you! :sunny:
