What are you going to see?:)

I'm in the mood for a thriller so I've been considering The Village but I'm not confident it's going to deliver. I just have this feeling the trailers outdo the actual film.

Oh, well...any other suggestions? Maybe The Manchurian Candidate...I loved the original! That "fight" scene with Frank Sinatra...comical!:p

I'm dying to see the Village and I'd also like to see the Manchurian Candidate. I've read reviews for both and they were pretty good.

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to the movies much this summer--I'm thinking this weekend I really need to see at least one!

Definitely the Village this weekend. I'll watch Manchurian Candidate next week since I'm not in the mood to watch Collateral.

I'll probably sneak a matinee of Thunderbirds this weekend, if I don't have anything to do.

We plan on seeing The Village this weekend. ::yes::

We'll be seeing The Bourne Supremacy and The Village over the weekend.

I would like to see the Bourne Supremacy, but am trying to get my hads on a copy of the Bourne Identity at the video store first.

Also, a local theater shows the Rocky Horror Picture Show at midnight on some weekends. If that is showing, I think I may try to convince DH to sneak out with me to see it. Haven't seen it in 20 years or so. Just in a mood to see it again.

Thunderbirds or I-Robot ?
depends on how the weather is on Sun

We saw "Supersize Me" last weekend. I would tell anyone to see it, you may never want to walk into a McDees again!:D

Didn't get to see The Bourne Supremacy last weekend, so I'll probably go tomorrow :)

We are supposed to go see The Village tomorrow. I just took a peak at the reviews over at Rotten Tomatoes and now I am disheartened because it doesn't sound as good as I'd hoped. Hate it when that happens. I would also like to see Garden State and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle (or whatever that title is) so I'm not sure which we'll see now.

I want to go see the Village but my son doesn't want to and we don't force them to see anything they don't want to. Thats not like my son. He loves scary movies but he's only 5 so I guess its the age but he seems to not want to see movies anymore.I had to practicaly drag him to see Garfield. I live in IN but my family and friends live in IL so its not like I have a babysitter and don't trust my kids with anybody. My daughter is 6 and wants to see it so maybe I will take her during Maitnee. Her and I want to see Cinderella Story last weekend.

i think it might be a rental weekend for us. we've already seen i-robot and bourne supremacy. the village looks pretty lame, imho, and i really don't want to see the manchurian candidate. i love the original so so much i am sort of afraid of what they might have done to it.

I loved it, too...this remake sort of just looks like a John Grisham/Tom Clancy book-to-film thing. Doesn't look like it has that much new to offer.

Another in that same vein...Collateral (someone mentioned it above:))...but I don't mind seeing Tom Cruise in anything.;)

There's got to be a comedy out there...I've missed so many films this summer as well!

I wish! We'll be home putting in new baseboards, sink and toilet! Fun, eh? Have fun!
