Hey everyone!

I was just referred to this forum by a friend. Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in.

Anyways, my fiance and I are planning a trip to Orlando from June 16-18 and need as much help as possible. This will be her first time there, I have been there several times before. We will be leaving from Newark Airport in Newark, N.J. I am 30 and she is 27. We need all the help we can get.

Where is the best place to search for packages including airfare? Where are the best places to stay in Orlando and what is there to do, that she will like? She has not been to Disney World or any of the other theme parks. She has her own airfare already. All I need to do is find the cheapest package.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks guys!

If you don't mind a basic room, go to a travel agent and get a package deal with a cheap hotel...
If you have an adventuresome side to you, do www.priceline.com and bid about 50$/night for a 3 star and you can both watch to see if you get the bid...
To be honest, I would get a 4 day pass to Disney, do every park once, spend one day at Clearwater Beach and have dinner at Cooter's by the beach.
I would do one shopping day at the Outlet Malls, and one day of whatever...

For airfare, check www.airtran.com Sounds like you will be flying separately if she has airfare.

Finally, if your budget can do up to $100/ night, go to www.vrbo.com then to "Disney", then to "Kissimmee" then to Indian Ridge or Indian Ridge Oaks (great locations with cheap houses) and rent a 2 or 3 bedroom house with private pool...less than $700 a week and have your own romantic evenings on the pool deck and in the pool!!

Be sure and do one night at Disney Boardwalk...really fun place to walk around and eat at ESPN or the Microbrewery for 10-15 bucks or walk around the lake to the fabulous buffet at Disney Beach Club, called The Cape May Buffet Clambake...

good luck...Ted

You've come to the right place for help. First up, check out Mary's site: mousesavers.com - she might have something inexpensive as far as packages or rooms and flights. Speaking of flights, SWA just sent me an email about cheaper flights for June - check them out. If you have AAA, talk to them and see if they have any packages that might interest you.

I'm sure other DISers will chime in with more advice - good luck with your trip!!! :teeth:
