Unfortunately I have to cancel (and lose my points) for my upcoming trip. I will be happy to wait to cancel if anyone is interested in trying to get into this slot to give you a better chance.....

Advertise the resie on the for rent or trade board. The points will go into a holding account. Keep advertising them until they expire. There are places other than here to advertise points. Also put signs up at work and have your kids spread the word at school. Put a sign up at the supermarket. Good luck.

I have to agree. If you're going to throw them away anyway, why not keep the reservation and at least post it for rental? At least that way you recoupe something.

Sorry to hear you had to cancel. I was going to suggest the same thing - if you know anyone who lives within driving distance to WDW - and if you were going to loose them, just post them on the rent/trade board.

Glad it's working out and they are not going to be wasted.
