planning to cancel my BWV standard studio for 10/21 to 10/30

If all goes well and OKW still has availability for a studio 10/21 to 10/28 tomorrow, I am planning on letting go of my BWV standard view studio. I have 9 nights booked. Not sure if someone's waitlist will kick in right away or if it will show available. I am planning to do this right at 8 so the availability would show up just after. I know this is a highly sought after room so hopefully someone here will be lucky either booking it or with their waitlist. Would love to hear if you snag it.

I sure hope I can hold/cancel/book without losing the OKW. I printed out the instructions for doing it on 2 computers.

We like the parking at OKW, the bigger rooms, the low points (same as standard view studio at BWV), and the quiet pools. It ended up that the website was not working Monday morning and couldn't end up waiting till 9 to call. By the time I had a chance to check the first day, 10/21 was gone at OKW, so we ended up keeping the BWV. It was meant to be. We have stayed at BWV many times and the parking is a real pain during food and wine. I wish they could control it better, at least the main lot. We use our car often to go to dinner at the different resorts and to Universal. We don't really care about food and wine.

Did you waitlist OKW? My guess would be it will fill for you if you don't have to WL the whole time.

No, I didn't bother. Im working now through till next Wednesday and can't get on the website at 8 to snag the first day. It really doesn't matter all that much where we stay, we like them all but usually choose the lowest point places. Yes, we give up the parking at OKW, but we can walk to Epcot and studios. It's a trade off no matter where you stay. As usual, we are happy just to be going.
