Hello everyone!
I am so glad I found this forum!
We are planning to have an intimate wedding (15 guests) for May of 2007...I am going crazy because I can't book it yet, and I have a zillion questions! I suppose I am just anxious as for I have no idea how this will go...it seems so confusing!

Question number one!
I cant book more than a year in advance....right? I assume that means if I want to get married on the tenth, not to bother calling on the 9th? or is there some flexability with that?

When I call to book, I assume it to be wise to have my room reservation in hand, as for I think I understand that I cant hold my date without this?
Or would it be best to wait to reserve room just incase I have to be more flexable with the date?

I feel like I need someone to hold my hand through this enitre process!

First you'll need a 4 night reservation at a Disney resort.

Yes, you can book a year out....if it is at one of the outdoor locations such as Seabreeze Point, Sunset Point, Yacht Club Gazebo, and Wilderness Lodge Terrace

However, you have to wait until the 8 month mark to book at the Wedding Pavillion

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Excellent question, Kruggie. I, too, wonder if I can call on say May 1st, if I want to book for mid-January 2007, or if it has to be 8 months to the day when I call to book... I'm terrified of missing the boat somehow and not getting the date we want.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Please share. ;)

And, Kruggie, I highly recommend that you call DFTW. In my experience, they have been great with answering all of my (sometimes inane) questions and I am not able to book for another month or so. This board is a fantastic place to have questions answered too but certainly don't be afraid to call and get advice and answers from the Disney folks. My two cents. :)

Cheers,
Linda
