Ok - this is the first time this is happening to me. We're going over TG this year 11/20 - 11/30. In 2011 we're going to go the last week in August. So I'm going to be planning my 2011 trip months before I go in 2010. Weird... it will only be my third trip as a DVC memmber so I guess this will happen more. Weird... but fun!

You will really enjoy your TG trip because you know that you will be going back soon......Having 2 in the "bag"....is just "normal" for us DVC'ers:goodvibes:dance3:
Happy planning

I'm in the same boat....I working on details for 3 trips right now. One in August, the 2nd over Thanksgiving and a DCL cruise over Pres. Week next February! It's tough keeping it all separate, but it's fun too! I love my DVC:cool1:

Hehe. Have fun planning! I currently have 3 trips i'm in plannning stages for. Just added a long weekend in june for me and my BFF so gotta work on ADR's for that today. Got July and Oct bday trips that have ADR's already made just waiting for time to get here!;)

We had two reservations scheduled about 6 months before our first DVC stay. It seemed a bit confusing at first especially when we had ADRs set up for both reservations but we finally got our thoughts organized. We only have one reservation now but we are in the beginning stages for a family gathering (DH's side) in June 2011 and another family gathering (my side) in June 2013. And then if we're lucky and have left over points, we'll figure out what we're doing in 2012. Somehow I doubt if there will be enough points to use at Aulani. :rotfl:

It is essential to have at least two Disney trips in the works at all times! It makes coming home so much easier when you know that you will be back soon. Enjoy your planning! :goodvibes

Isn't it fun, I guess everyone is right owning dvc does "force" you to take vacations! I never had a problem with that though. I have a ressie in May (1st as dvc owner) with girlfriends, have a ressie for my DD in Aug (grad gift) just booked ressie for beginning of Dec for DH birthday and what started it all our annual trip in Feb is all booked!

We just bought DVC and we have a vacation planned for Oct '10 and also January '11. I love it because it is twice the planning which I adore, and also because our Oct trip is shorter and mostly to hang out at SAB and walk to Epcot for F&W. So when planning the October trip we don't have to worry about fitting everything in because we can just schedule it for our longer Jan trip:thumbsup2

I have 2 trips in the planning stages. One in August and one in January.

DH and I are also trying to decide on 2011 if it is going to be a 2 or 3 trip year.

You're not alone, I usually have 3 Disney trips in the planning at any one time!

It's a wonderful problem to have. DH says knowing a WDW trip is planned for sometime in the future helps him get through the work week.

:goodvibesRight now we are going in 3 weeks with family, DH & I are going again in Oct. for F&WF and then family is going for spring break next March. Yes, DVC is wonderful!!

:thumbsup2 That's the way to keep the "Disney Magic" going! We went in Feb, going again in Jun and then again in Nov!

We are going to DW for 2 weeks in May/June, 8 nights in Sept, a week next April, trying for a week in Hilton Head in May '11, and another 8 nights in DW in Sept '11. We love our DVC and need more points!

We are talking already about our summer 2011 trip when we have not even gone on our 2010 trip!!

My DD is trying to decide between visiting WDW again for 7 nights or doing a Disney cruise for 4.

She loves VWL and we are not staying there this summer so if she choses WDW, she gets to go back there for 1/2 the trip.

I have a feeling WDW will win out (which I prefer since DH and I are going on a couples cruise at the beginning of summer and going on two cruises within a two month time is a bit much!!! LOL)

I think that is part of the wonder of DVC. It almost is a must to think that far ahead and have a couple or more going at all times. What is a better way to get you through a tough day at work than thinking of vacations. Especially if they are at the "Happiest Place On Earth".
