Planning Session Help!

Can anyone tell me (and DF) exactly what happens at the planning sesson?

I've seen picts of cake tasting and menu tasting, but is that always a part of the PS? I'm really excited, our PS is a little over a month away and I can't wait!

The cake tasting is always part, but you have to request the menu tasting. You can also request a site visit be added before or after your planning session if you haven't had a chance to see your venues in person.

For the planning session part, you basically walk through the questionnaire included in your planning kit and map out all the details for the day, from where you'll be getting ready to how you will make your getaway and everything in between. At one point you will also have an opportunity to meet with your Floral Event Planner to select flowers, linens, and other decor.

Lots of people have written trip reports about their planning sessions or posted reports within their Planning Journals (in the Planning Our Happily Ever After section that's linked at the top of this forum).

Carrie I just read your thread - I am terrified! If they gave you that much trouble about smaller things like transport and floral - I am doomed!!! We only have site visits coming up - and I feel like I can already hear all of the NO NO NO NO NOs. GGRRRRR.

I have questions about dinner at LSS and a DP-

If all of our guests are staying at some place like say the boardwalk - then can we all walk to epcot - or charter a boat? Are we still required to have bus transport??

I kind of feel like it would be cheaper/better value to just buy everyone park tickets for the day and let them walk through the main gate. If we did that can we get out of the bus transport?
