We are considering planning our first trip to Disney Land. We have never been, have always done Disney World. The question is after doing DW and loving it will we be disappointed with Disney Land? My boss said we should just skip it but we are thinking we might surprise our daughter for a long weekend in October for her birthday. Any comments, thoughts, suggestions?

I love DL and think as long as you go expecting to see a different aspect of Disney you will have a great time!!!

October is a great time to go - the weather is beautiful and the park will be decorated for Halloween. You can also easily do DL on a long weekend (three days in the park??) since everything is so close in proximity.

Hydroguy also has a post (I am sure you will see it here on this thread soon) that has some great advice!!! :cool1:
