Planning out our Jan 2-10 stay...have a few ??'s

We are split staying Jan 2-10 The 2-7 will be in a 1 bdr at BCV (SO SO HAPPY about this) then the 7-10 at WLV in a 1 bdrm.

I was just looking at the Osborne Light schedule and they last until Jan 3rd. Does anyone remember what time they flip the switch on those? I am trying to write out a tentative schedule with dinners and considering possible Fantasmic times (based off last year) and I would like to be at the lights when they flip them on.

Also, does anyone remember what rooms they were in that gave them the best views at both villa locations? I have looked through DVCnews.com roomfinder, I just want to see if any of you had a specific area ou like the best.

Also, for SAB, is there a shortcut to SAB from the villas? Or what is the easiest way to get there?

Osborne lights usually go on at dusk/sunset.

No shortcut to SAB from BCV. You have to go through the main lobby.

If you are looking at time of day, sunset is usually about 6 p.m. that time of year but you want to see the Osborne Lights after twilight has completely disappeared so ideal time is usually about 6:45 and after.

6PM was the time that came to mind for the initial switch flipping and that's what I had down on our schedule from the last two Decembers.
