My fiance' and I recently got engaged and have begun the first stages of planning our WDW wedding :)

We've already got our date, time, and venues booked through our wedding consultant and will receive our wedding planner in November. They have already sent us lots of information including dinner and bar options.

We have decided on a sunset wedding at the Wedding Pavilion with a reception at Grand Floridian Ballroom (changed from The Living Seas Salon) in November 2012.

So excited!

Congratulations! I hope you continue to share all your plans!!!! :goodvibes

I am also planning on having my wedding at the wedding pavilion and my reception at living seas in October 2012. Did you do a site visit before you decided on doing the living seas?

Sadly no I did not since I live out in Las Vegas, but I fell in love with all the pictures I found. We both grew up in Florida and actually his parents met at Disney World. We will be doing our site visit in June 2012 during our planning session.

Congratulations and welcome.

We are renewing our vows next November on the 10th.

Can't wait to read your plans.

I will post our plans once we get more confirmation from our wedding planner which we will get in a few weeks! Yay!!!

So far our confirmations include...

Ceremony: Wedding Pavilion (evening)
Reception: Grand Floridian Ballroom Salons (immediately following ceremony)
Photographer: Randy Chapman
Guests: 75
Dinner Choice: Buffet style

How exciting! Congrats on your vow renewals! How many years?

Thanks! We will be celebrating 10 years next year. Our anniversary is actually in October, but we booked a cruise before we decided to do this, so still doing the cruise. :)

We are also doing our planning session in June. Planning for the last weekend (June 27th-July 1). When are you planning?

Ohhhh cruises are fun! Hope you two have a fantastic time! We are hoping to do our planning session sometime during the week of the 18th, but we can't confirm that until they assign a wedding planner to us in a few weeks. It's the only week my fiance' and I can get off work together till the wedding.

Oh! I wanted to share some Living Seas Salon information for future brides...

I was working on seating assignments and was getting frustrated because I couldn't find any information on table/seating arrangements inside the salon. I tried to look at pictures but that was incredibly hard as well. Finally I just broke down and asked our wedding coordinator.

Most tables are round and seat six. There are two rectangular tables that also seat six. These tables together seat 84 guests total. When there are more than 84 guests in this location they add two traditional 70in rounds of 10 and this takes us to 104 max. For this location there are limited options for a head table without impacting the number of guests that it can accommodate. If you want a head table they would use the two rectangular tables and push them together. In this case you would no longer use them for 12 guests, the two tables could seat 4-6 ppl only. You can also opt for a sweetheart table for just the couple.

We decided on the sweetheart table because the other option didn't leave enough space for our entire wedding party. But we asked if we could have the sweetheart table set up near the aquarium glass and they said it shouldn't be a problem :)

Hopefully these links work and will help out those that are lurking about trying to find out pricing information...
