Planning our first stay at OKW

DH and I would like to book a 3 night stay in a studio at OKW. We'd like to be close to the main pool and the restaurant. What area should we request? Is the resort broken into named sections?

When you make the reservation, request to be near Hospitality House. That is where both the main pool and restaurant are. If you don't get it though, you are only a few steps to any bus stop away from that area. ALL buses stop there before exiting the resort.

As Diane mentioned, you should request "near Hospitality House". The resort does not have named sections---there are only building numbers. Have a nice trip

Actually, there are kind of named sections. The bus stops are labled by the street they are on, and you can request that as well. They would be Miller's Road, Peninsular Road, South Point, and Old Turtle Pond Road.

The Turtle Pond pool is pretty good, too. We like to stay there.

Building 14 is across from HH bus stop.

Request a stuido near the HH. It is a very nice area and very convenient to the main pool, restaurant, etc.
When taking the bus back from the parks, get off at the first stop--Peninsular Rd, not the HH stop. HH stop is the last one dropped off. When going to the parks use the reverse, walk to HH stop and it will be the last stop before leaving the resort. From Peninsular Rd busstop to HH is a very short walk to your villa.
Another tip for folks staying in OKW studios is: if you want ice, bring a small plastic bag in you fanny pack and get ice when you get off the bus. It saves many steps, to be prepared!
