Planning on Buying from SSR

I was going to by resale at 83 a point with a feb. 07 use year (220 contract)

but disney is offering 91 a point with Sept 06 use year (220 contract)...

I think the Disney deal is better because I will be able to bank 06 points and have 440 come sept 07th...

Am I missing something? Plus it will get done sooner with no hiccups...

Sometimes it's like that. Each resale contract is different. There are many variables that you need to compare to determine which way to go.
Resale is not always cheaper or better and the same holds for DVC also.

If the contract you are looking at is stripped of 2007 points or 2006 points then compare that with what you would receive from DVC.
Do you have your own financing?
Are you planning a vacation real soon that an expedited closing would help?
Compare closing costs.
Are you going to be stressed out about passing ROFR?

Many things you can look at to decide what will work for you. Every time the contract changes, the variables change.
