Hi! So my plan is to apply every year so I could get the gist of the whole process of applying. But if I actually got accepted I would only accept my senior year as my college doesn't accept disney classes. Would doing this hurt my chances of getting in in the future?

I would mock apply 1 time to get a hang of it but not every year or semester. Just make sure you have realistic expectations that just because you get in 1 time is not a guarantee you will get in after you graduate. It is a gamble you have to be willing to take since it would be a 1 time shot.

I would not put in a mock application period, but that's just me. Both of my girls have done the program in sophomore/junior year. Their school allowed them to take an internship and held scholarships for next semester. They had to pay a $50 fee to the school and that was it-they are lucky, I know. Neither of mine took any classes at all while in Florida- the experience was quite an education in itself. Both were happy with that choice.

My dd did exactly what you want to do...DCP after graduation. She applied just the one time, and was lucky enough to get in...she starts in Sept! But, here's the thing...you either have the right answers or you don't. Not to mention, DCP could very well be looking for certain positions...you could be accepted on your first try, then not get accepted the time you really want it to count!! I would just apply the time you want to go. I think there is an algorithm that Disney uses for online applications. Then, same for the WBI. You either hit those words/phrases that the algorithm is looking for, or you don't. If you do, you go on to the in person interview. If not, you get kicked out of the system.
I would just watch all the different boards that have info on DCP applications..you'll get a huge amount of info from those!

I applied once during the Spring of my sophomore year to go the following fall. I was accepted, but turned it down because it was genuinely not the right time for me. I applied again my senior year, last semester, last chance at it kind of thing. I didn't get in. I could still apply this fall since it would be within the 6 months of graduation, but I'm hoping to get a full time job and that makes it a lot harder to just leave a career for 6 months in Disney. I personally would go back in time and not apply until I was really ready, but YMMV. The most important part is that you do what's best for you. My school didn't take credit either, but I was able to take up to 15 months off of school without any penalty, other than being behind in classes. Maybe you could do a few online classes while there or do one or two in the summer and one or two during the year. Don't just apply to apply, as it's really not a difficult process if you have the answers they're looking for.
