Planning our first wdw trip very excited but really have no idea where to begin. Our dates can be flexible as long as we are there for our dd birthday which is the 13th. We want to stay for 2 weeks.

If anyone can help with usefull sites that would be great

xx

I have booked my holiday with www.disneyworld.co.uk for hotel, tickets and free dining. But if you dont want to stay at disney then there are other places to look. Expedia is a good site for hotels in Orlando.

it is cheaper to do the flights separately but you do have to pay for the flights when you book them if you do diy. We booked flights with Virgin. www.virginatlantic.co.uk

We also book our car hire separately too.

Have fun planning.

We are booked (hotel/free dining and disney tickets) for 18th october 2012 with Complete Orlando.

Staying at Old Key West disney resort.

If you are wanting mainly disney then the free dining offer at OKW or Saratoga springs resort is hard to beat. A lot on here go for it.

Complete Orlando got my booking as they were slightly cheaper than disney direct when I booked.

I will book my flights when they come available 11 months from return date (we paid £500 each for October 2011 indirect - hoping for same 2012)

OKW works out at £111 a night for a studio sleeping 4 inc all food eg character meals and free parking.

.

One way to book your flights DIY, and not have to pay for them up front, is to find the flight you want, and then phone any travel agent to secure that specific flight for you.

That way, you get the flight you wanted and the price you saw, but then only have to pay the deposit to the agent, and the balance to them a few months before. You will also get atra ABTA protection if anything happens to the airline. You can do this for all the airlines, including Virgin

Most travel agents still want full price for flights when they are booked, well they do here

I'm booked for Oct 2010 and booked through Cosmos, disney are villa, car hire and flights for 5 of us for £3200 which is a fab price :D
