Planning Help!

Need some advice for our trip in 2 weeks. Starting to second guess my original plans thinking we might want to do AK twice. Here are our current plans:

Arrival Day: MK (Won't get to the park until around 5 pm)
Thursday: Epcot
Friday: MK
Saturday: HS
Sunday: Resort Day
Monday: AK
Tuesday: MK

Since we have never done all the Avatar rides i'm thinking we might want to change our arrival day park to AK. No FP are available for FOP on our arrival day but everything else is. I figured just get in line right at closing for that. Do you think AK is worth going to for a few hours on arrival day? Thanks for any suggestions!

if you want to try and do "all of" Avatar i think arrival day at AK is a good option and probably what i'd do. The rest looks great

Lines for FoP are still crazy. If not arriving until 5:00, my suggestion would be to make it your last ride in the park.

Having said that, if you are going and waiting until the end of the day, I would have to push the questions back to you. Will you and your family be up for waiting until the end of the day. Type and length of traveling, age of kids, standing around, etc. would all impact that decision. Then again, with the park closing at 8:00 PM, it may not be too bad...

Good thought. If we stick with Magic Kingdom that night they are open until 10 pm but we have FP for the rides we want there. I just worry the kids will love all the Avatar stuff and will want to go back. Plus we already have 2 full days planned for MK during our trip.

I think AK for your arrival day would work well. And it might work in your favor that AK won't be open quite as late as MK for your arrival day so you can get to sleep earlier and be better rested for your first full day.
